A bit more detail: Sunny is, by far, the happiest horse you will ever meet. He's always walking around with an air of cheeriness to him, ready to offer a simple head nod, a quiet greeting, anything to make anyone happy. Many often tire of his optimism and attempt to glare him down, but he just keeps on going, not a care in the world. He moves nice and slowly, and is a good mount for young children due to his easy speed and demeanor. And he's always ready to love on any rider, nuzzling, nickering, letting them cuddle with him. As well as all of this, he's also very funny and is known as a comedian around the stables. He knows a barrage of jokes, cheesy pick up lines, and dry humor- anything and everything relating to the word funny.

Sometimes you just have to act alright to convince yourself that you can be alright, if only for a little while. You know how they say that most comedians are actually depressed? Yeah. I have to admit, I'm not as optimistic or as carefree as I may seem. At night I often think to myself, what am I doing on this planet? What is my meaning in life, what am I supposed to do? And I truly don't know. Danny's a natural leader, Mother is there for all of us, no matter what. And me? Am I supposed to make everyone laugh? Or am I supposed to make everyone happy? It seems as if I'm always in the background, despite my efforts. Like they say, I guess, all that is gold does not glitter.
He was born as the sun rose, and the light on his pelt made him seem like he was a part of the sun itself. He was raised normally, had a nice, normal life - until he reached the age of four and found that, while other horses were finding love, he was not. He waited around for a few months, learned every pickup line in existence, and even made a few up, preparing for that one day when he would meet a mare that he was attracted to. But he would never find a mare. He would find a stallion. And that stallion's name is Detour. He took one look at the slow-moving, so carefree stallion, and couldn't help but go up to him to strike up a conversation.
They easily became good friends, lounging in the pastures, sharing cheesy jokes, having great times as their friendship slowly advanced into something more. Sunny finally felt that he had found a small slice of heaven, that maybe his life would get a meaning to it. The stallion had accepted that he was truly, one hundred percent gay, and that was alright. Detour decided that, while he did have a good time with that one mare, that maybe he wasn't completely straight. Maybe he wasn't as normal as he thought.
Fast forward two years. Detour has explored his sexuality to the point where, yes, he's decided he's pansexual. Their romance has moved on, they've become mates, and are now exploring the possibilities of having a foal of their own. Sunny's bout of depression has died down, and now he's truly happy.
