General Info
Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Crush: When Pilot was a little filly, she didnt care much for boys as her other friends did. As they packed together to gush over their latest obsessions, Pilot veered away and spent her time exploring and discovering the world around her. She always seemed to have her head in clouds, and that was just the way she liked it. One early morning, as she was exploring the far end of the meadows, she turned to see a flutter of color disappearing under the brush. The high grass rustled and she watched at they scattered in a crooked stream of movement farther into the weeds. She trotted along, pouncing on the rustling weeds, trying to catch whatever was below. Eventually she found herself in the deepest part of the meadow, and as she pounced down again she slipped right under the grass. She shook her small frame and jumped up onto the tips of her hooves in order to peer out. Turning her head the other way, she found herself nose to nose with another little filly. The black coated horse was awfully tiny, and her piercing golden eyes stared Pilot down with an aggressive curiosity. She snorted, then licked Pilot's muzzle, nickering and jumping back down into the brush. The two chased each other down in a wonderful game of tag, and by the time the sun had set they found themselves back in the territory of the herd. Pilot curled up under her favorite tree, the little black filly curling up next to her, and they snuggled together through the night. By morning, the little filly was gone, yet Pilot still pined after the memory of her into her adult years.
