Name:
Zero
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Persuasive-Curious-Loud-Kind-Bossy
Not many people would consider persuasive a personality trait, would they?
They're probably right, but in this case, this Viscet can persuade anyone to do almost anything.
Zero is curious, always searching for answers to questions no one seems to care or think about.
She loves pondering them, and is always ecstatic when she finds the answer, sometimes even declaring she could be a sleuth.
It's always the saying, "Curiosity killed the cat," that annoys her. She views curiosity as a good trait, even though her friends have saved her from more than one tunnel collapse.
When she's around friends, Zero is loud and obnoxious, playing and even teasing them.
Sometimes this can get annoying, but it's all in good fun.
Around adults she's quiet and patient, but isn't afraid to voice her opinion, and even contradict them.
That doesn't stop her from caring, and while she doesn't want to become a healer, she'll welcome any Viscets as her friends, but she also carries grudges heavily.
Anyone is a friend until proven otherwise.
And lastly, sometimes Zero can get carried away, and be a little bossy.
She's still relatively young, her parents may use as an excuse, and they are right, she is young yet.
But until Zero feels uncomfortable with her friends, she's fine playfully teasing them and being bossy, to her most things are a harmless joke.
Bio:
Zero grew up in a cave.
Yes, I know, a cave.
She and her family for generation upon generation have live in a single cave, but the tunnel network stretches on for miles and miles.
That's why her markings faintly glow.
Zero has no idea why her parents named her Zero, and hasn't asked.
In truth, she doesn't really care for her parents.
They are strict, and lazy, and always ordering her to do things they don't want to.
Zero knows they never really wanted her, so she doesn't bother them for much, instead pulling her friends to explore a new part of the tunnels.
Well, to be rebellious, or maybe just because she wants to at night, she'll sneak into a separate tunnel, which has a huge hole in the roof, which she can see the night sky through, a nightmare for any of her family members. Day after day, she'll be told to stay away, that the outside world was a nightmare.
She'll stay of there for hours watch the stars slowly travel across the night sky.
To be truthful, not much has happened in her life, but she yearns to change that.
Everyday is almost the same: Hunt, eat, sleep, hunt, eat, go away and find something else to do, then sleep.
She knows she's be bat-blind in daylight, but yet she still dreams of being able to go everywhere... anywhere but where she is.
She knows every nook and cranny in her tunnels, but only by the main cavern, where her pack sleeps, and even though it was fun exploring it when she was little, she knows every turn of it by heart.
So, whenever she isn't being called upon by her parents, she slips away with a friend, searching for a perfect mini-cavern where they can camp out, and share stories they know aren't true.
Only one thing can capture her attention more than the stars, though.
In a tunnel, Zero believes only she knows about, there are colorful paintings, glowing just like her markings. That little tunnel goes on for quite a while, and everyday she'll visit it, if only to try and understand what the pictures mean.
There are all sorts of things, like brown rectangles that stretch out into smaller lines, dotted in greens spots. It seems like these, "Stumps" change each season, dying and then coming back to life, just like the famous tale of the Phoenix.
And green streaks, which she recognizes as one of the old, crazy Viscet tales calling grass.
She's a great hunter, and her eyes are adapted to see well in the dark, but she mostly relies on hearing to hunt, just like most of her family.
She'll stalk a mouse, just for example, and instead of searching for movement with her eyes, she'll close them, as if she's blind.
When she hears it, she'll jump and snatch it into her jaws.
She's quite agile and graceful, and loves climbing over and on top of the various boulders in the tunnels.
