Fantasia
In truth, Fantasia is the only one that Cain has ever trusted. She has always been the one person who cares about Cain and for Cain, Fantasia is her only true family member. Cain intrusts everything in her mother, and shares a deep bond with her.

Anora
Cain has never cared about wealth, but Anora will always love her money and her power more then Cain. Which is why Cain neither trusts her or likes her. However, Cain does feel sadness when thinking of her mother, hoping that she can some day be cleansed of this need for wealth and return to Fantasia and her family.

Kieran
Cain doesn't know too much about Kieran, but does have a liking to her. She knows Kieran is smart enough to be someone Cain can trust, and Kieran can also relate to the family problems they are going through.

Cailan
Cain has decided to leave Cailan alone. Cailan wants the wealth out of spite, and Cain has therefore determined that no relationship with Cailan might be the best thing at the moment.

Thane
He has tried to ' remove' her from the family, so Cain has grown to be aware and afraid of him. She has never really known him, and knows she will never miss him. In any case, Fantasia has removed him from the family, so Cain now tries to forget about him.

Zaira
Zaira is like a safe zone, just like Fantasia. In her heart she knows she is protected from thane and Anora when Zaira is around, In truth Cain really loves her, and treats her like the mother she has never had.

Eluvian
Cain loves Eluvian, she feels a need to protect someone who is so vulnerable. She keeps her from Cailan and constantly reassures her and visits her. No, despite her deep love for Eluvian, she does not trust her. The only reason she doesn't is because Anora is favouring her, and with such a naive personality, Eluvian could possibly be Anora's puppet.

Requin is a very bitter individual, but she wasn't always like this. She used to be nice, funny, and lovable. But that all changed when she met her second mother, Anora. Anora got into her head quickly and convinced her she was the only heir to the wealth she had heard very little about. Upon learning that Anora was filthy rich and wanted a heir to inherit everything, she became incredibly greedy and lived with Anora for a bit. Requin completely threw Fantasia's side of the family away and was all about money and fame and power. As she lived with Anora, she became blind to everything except wealth. Then, almost suddenly, Requin was outcasted from any and all family and banished to live somewhere else as to not be a danger to the family. The young girl did not realize her mistakes. Instead she became resentful of her family. She quickly fell into a depression as she lives in the sea. Requin is completely hopeless. She now knows what she did but she doesn't see that it's wrong. Instead she still resents her family as she spirals into deeper depression and hopelessness.

As a child, Ali lived with Fantasia but felt more like she lived with Anora, with every kia acting like she was the most important kia because of her mother being rich. She was top of the food chain so to speak. She was the most popular kia in her class with everyone who was anyone clamoring to become her best friend. Around this age, Ali looked up to Anora and her older brother Thane like one who looks up to pop stars and movie actors. They were the best thing to ever happen to Ali, not that their glamour lasted long in Ali's eyes... (P.S. Ali doesn't realize that she became popular since her mother was rich, she thought it was because of her kindness toward others)

---------Teenager (her current age) :

When Ali grew up, she realized that her friends only wanted to be around her because of her mother's wealth and had been hoping for many years that some money would make it to them if they just kept striving to please Ali's every whim. So one day she gathered all her so-called friends together to hang out at her house for the first time, that's what she told them any way. Instead her reason for this get-together was to weed out and cut off anyone who was in the friendship because of the money. When most kias entered her other mother's humble abode they looked disgusted that they ever thought Ali was rich and when everyone was told that she wouldn't get any of the money that Anora had, just about everyone left her and she felt hurt. But what hurt more was that three of her kia friends tried to stay and act like her friends for another year or two, thinking that Ali had just been joking around about not having any money.
This made Ali very upset that her other mother Fantasia didn't always live comfortably instead of having to try and feed and care for her and her sisters and brother with what little they had. So Ali took matters into her own hands. She decided to become a thief and pawn off anything she stole for money to give to her mother. And for the time being, Ali is a masterful thief who does not go after anything too risky unless she knows that there are no flaws in her plan that can suddenly arise and ruin everything.

----------Adult (her hopes for the future) :

As Ali gets older she is beginning to dream of a better life. She hopes that soon either her mothers will make amends and share the wealth between family members or that Fantasia will be able to get a job that pays well enough that she can retire knowing she provided well for her children. And as that comes and goes, Ali hopes to possibly put her thievery to rest...or maybe just continue to use it for helping those who are unable to make enough on their own for their family. But she is still young and very undecided on what she wants her future to be...

----------Thane:

During her childhood, Ali looked up to her brother Thane and thought him to be her closest friend who would never let her down. But she didn't realize that he was falling away from the straight and narrow and started to become a criminal. He inadvertently had taught her much of what she does when stealing pieces from museums to sell on the black market. But he didn't show her on purpose, Ali would sneak out to watch her brother's comings and goings from Anora's house and follow him until he returned home again, studying his every move.
However as Ali grew older she realized that what Thane was doing was wrong and decided to no longer look up to him, especially when he was caught and sent to jail for his crimes.

----------Fantasia:

Fantasia is and always will be Ali's favorite mother. Whenever Fantasia is able to be home she loves to spend time with her littlest ones (Ali and Eluvian) so Ali has a loving connection to this specific mother and knows just how much Fantasia loves her through the littlest things like a small gift when times are harder on everyone.

----------Eluvian:

Though her sister chooses to be mute, Ali has spent enough time with her that she is able to tell what Eluvian is thinking and/or feeling in situations. It's their "twin tuition."
