Sanskiras are a species of hybrid, domestic animals that were created through selective, genetic breeding. They are a hybrid between wolves, foxes, horses and goats. Most Sanskiras are tame in captivity, but on rare occasions, herds of wild Sanskiras have been spotted running free. Sanskiras are bred for showing purposes, so most Sanskiras in captivity are well trained and groomed to perfection. They can be ridden, but it takes a lot of time and patience to train them. Favorite Place: There is a waterfall, not far from Nanook's home that contains a secret passage. If you pass under the thin layer of thundering water, you will find a cave. At the back of a cave is an opening just big enough for Nani to pass through. Once you reach the other side, it is as though you have found a paradise. It is free of man and woman, and it has the purest drinking water. The grass is greener, the air is warmer, and the greens are crisper. Nanook is never happier than when she is in, as she calls the haven, Gaia's garden. This is her secret place that she has only ever shared with one other being, her best friend. She will likely never tell another soul of its whereabouts...

Favorite Place: Her favorite place to be is the Rocky Gravel Mill Creek Beach in southern California. for some reason, it has always been her safe place, as strange as that is. She is one of the few sanskira's left in the wild, and hopes to never be domesticated. This beach, is still has the feeling of her home, back in the true mountains, where she was forced to flee from as a yearling. Humans had arrived and were capturing her herd; the last thing she saw was her mother and father with lassos around their bodies, screaming for her to flee; and so she did. She ran for days and days without stopping, before she finally collapsed on the cliff overlooking this beach. She lay there, completely exhausted, for hours before finally having the strength to raise her head and look out below her; the sight was so beautiful that it drew tears. She now lives on her own at this beach, but she hides away in certain caverns in the mountain whenever humans arrive.
