Altair is a free-range kelpie who is very efficient in getting his job done, but he isnt one to go on with life based on facts. If what he did got the job done, then, it was efficient, therefore acceptable. This has rendered him a little crazy among most kelpies, but he was never one to care about what others thought of him.

Altair never does anything that he will regret, he may come off as flippant and careless, but this is just a mask to keep others from seeing the dark thoughts that run through his head.

Howl is very off. He is hyper and very active, but he always seems to be stand offish and a loner, even though he is full of energy. He often prefers to be alone or near his trainer, but he is never social. Many find him the back of the crowd, or shying behind his trainer. Howl is friendly, but to a point. If he believes you threaten his family's life, then he will not be nice. He barks, and is rather talkative, but only for short periods of time.

Personality: Polaroid is very laid back kinda fellow. He prefers to spend his time alone off wondering by himself. Now, he isn't antisocial but would rather spend his time alone somewhere with just his thoughts. He is very down to earth and can see the value of a good friend. The only Belgian Kelpie he enjoys spending his time with his Harley. They say opposites attract and Harley couldn't be more the opposite! Its a good balance that allows Polaroid to still be out and about having fun and being involved but can retreat to his quiet thoughts when need be.

Blanche is an old dog, one of the few existing in the Belgian Kelpie breed. She is a sweetheart - kind and patient with her family, but is the opposite with younger dogs. She gets impatient around loud sudden noises, or big quick movements, and it can cause her to growl or nip out of nervousness. Her eyesight is also going bad due to the natural aging process, and that makes her more cautious than ever. Strangely enough, Blanche's hearing seems to be sharp as ever.
Blanch really is terrible with noise and small, bouncy things though. While she still has the ability to breed in her, her owner and trainers would only suggest it to keep her bloodlines going with a pup or two before spaying the ol' girl. Because of her noise sensitivity, the BK is kept in the back office room when not outside because it's the quitest on a normal day.
To be summed up quickly, Blanch is an old sweet dog who just needs her rest and to have her care continued; and doesn't do well with busy activity near her or loud things(especially with the two mixed). And, after having maybe one or two pups to keep her retired reputation as a show dog going, will likely be spayed for her own well-being and comfort until her time is up.

Cami is very sweet and kind hearted. She is always there to help and listens all of the time. She is a good listener, and Cami rarely gets into trouble because she always follows rules. Unless, the rules are against her friends or family, or if she believed what she's doing is wrong. Cami is shy when you first meet her, but she will open up eventually and then she will be playful, sweet, gentle and caring. One of her flaws is that she trusts others too quickly and she is very gullible.

Diablo is a strong dog that doesn't really like to be alone. He always wants/needs constant attention and he wants to be around others. Diablo is usually the kind of dog that hates everyone and everything until he learns to get to know new people or tries something new. He is usually kind of happy and spastic, but he has problems with anger issues and others that pick of him or get on his nerves. Diablo otherwise is a caring dog that loves human attention. He dreams of one day making it to the big leagues and being popular with dogs and humans!!!!

Personality: This guy is a total nutcase, more then any of the Mercenary dogs combined. Just looking over at him makes me laugh, even if he is just sleeping or running around the yard like a maniac. He is the first sloped head pup to grace the Merc. kennels so he is special beyond his personality, which is hard to do since it is oh so unique. If you ever see him running at you it is almost a guarantee his tongue will be hanging out of his mouth and his tail will look like a propeller with how fast it is circling. That is another thing about this quirky dog, he wags his tail in circles any time he does it. He just gets so excited he loses control and the circles start up.
In his kennel we've even had to make it special for him because he has a habit of digging in his water dish. We've tried to get him off of it but he loves the water way too much, and as a result has broken more dishes then we can count. We've tried removing his dish and placing a bucket but the little bugger just digs trenches in his yard. We had a special stand made that his dish can be elevated without him being able to knock it all over. Because it is higher up he doesn't like standing up on it to splash, and we've also given him his own little shallow pool to splash and lay in if he really wants to.
