Personality: As cold as the River Styx. Hades won't hesitate to snap at you or try to run you over. His eyes show only hate, but there is something hidden in those cold, hatred eyes. Ever since he was a little colt, all the horses, including his mother, had stayed away from him. His unusually huge muscles and strength make other horses think he is some sort of monster or mutant. He has never had any friends or herdmates, just him and himself. Until the moment he met Salem, he was completely alone. The only one he will ever trust is that little black cat, but he is perfectly ok with that.

Best Friend: Salem, the black cat.

How They Meet: Hades was trotting around the pasture, looking for someone to talk to, as a little black cat yowled loudly. Another horse had stepping on it's tail, so the cat ran from that pasture into his and hide between Hade's legs. Hades bent down and sniffed the cat, who immedietly nuzzled Hade's large nose. The two immedietly bonded well, the cat would spend time sitting on Hade's back and Hades would protect Salem from danger.

Titanium:
This song fits him well because Hades has incredible muscle and strength, but he doesn't use it for destruction or fights on purpose. Hades trys to fit in, but everyone pushes him back and calls him things like 'monster' or 'devil.

Echo:
All the horses Hades has ever meet has called him mean names and ran off, because they believed he was some sort of freak or devil. No one is every there for him, he calls for help and friendship, yet no one risks being friends with someone like him. Until he meet Salem, he was completely alone with only his echo to answer him back.

Lieutenant tends to distance himself from other tolters. No one's be able to get close to him, but in reality that's all he wants. He needs someone he can depend on, someone he can trust with anything and everything. In his mind, that person does not exist. He is alone in the world, with his own thoughts and actions. He is usually silent, only speaking up to calm other tolters during time of stress or panic. It is hard for him to get attached to anyone, the only person he trusted was his older brother Captain. The pair of them were used as War Horses, named after the rank of the men they rode. The Captain and his horse both had fallen during the battle. After the war, Lieutenant was shuffled through auctions, 'the lucky survivor of the war' but due to his PTSD he was bought and sold again soon after. That is until SafeHaven had bought him. When he was shipped to the Stables, an open stall had already been made for him. Full of soft bedding, plenty of treats, and out looking a meadow. It was scheduled, away from the troublesome tolters such as Evania or Rev. There, Lieutenant met Hitomi. Hitomi was a beautiful mare, that despite his best efforts, followed him around until he began being a horse again. She would not leave him alone until he ate, slept, and talked to others. She was a guide, a guardian angel of sorts, that let him away from the darkness that swallowed him whole. He is forever in her debt.

Every now and then he still gets nightmares. His past will forever haunt him, running through the battlefield. Hearing the screams of agony, and seeing nothing but red. The sound of bombs ringing in his ears. his vision slowly turning black. The common thread through every nightmare is that now, instead of it never ending, he hears Hitomi's voice. Bring him back into reality that it's over now, and he will get better with her by his side. Things are going well at the new stables, he feels as if he's apart of something grand. For once, he is just a stallion in a herd. Not a warhorse on the brink of death.
