Kaname is quite the passive type, so passive he doesn't have
much care for anything. There isn't much he believes that is
worth his time, and the lack of ability to see gives him even
more reason to not have much interest in anything. Because
of all this, Kaname has a blunt personality, he has never been
interested in sugar coating what he says or beating around
the bush. He believes you get to the point and say it how it
is, and he wouldn't want others treating him any differently.


Kaname doesn't think much of family, he knows not to grow
attached to others. Death being his specialty he knows life
ends,and so it is useless to consider anyone inseparable to
himself. Often this makes him entertained by young couples
that promise love and being there forever. The only type of
attachment he has to a select few is familiarity, this belongs
to those that are his siblings. They are the only ones Kaname
is interested in being around, or feels comfortable around,
but he knows not too become deeply attached to them.

I have to give a thanks to Ice and Vintage for making such a gorgeous species,
with a Native American background and interest I was extremely attracted to
the species, they are like apart of my ancestry, an attachment. This amazing
boy and the adding of the ram horn DCs just seemed to be a great addition.
I don't know if Vintage put it there on purpose or not but when I was drawing
this guy, I noticed there was a little bear head like design on his hindquarters.
I personally thought it was adorable and I bonded with it, if you did it purposely
I adore your sneakiness, if you didn't, that makes it even cuter to know the
bear on his butt was an accident.

"What's so important about friends? They get in your way when you're trying to do what you want. They try to make you see the bright side - but I can't see. So they don't need to bother. That's why I don't have any so-called "friends". I don't see the benefit. I can fight for my own. Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I'm helpless. Other DCs depend on sight to live. I depend on smell, sound. I can perceive better than they without my eyes. But they still doubt me. So what are friends? Cawdlers. Jesters. Not for me. I don't see the point. Why should I depend on others for something that only applies to me? So I don't allow friends. I don't allow "just trying to help"s. I am not weak. I am not helpless. I will do this on my own. So goodbye - and leave me alone.
No, don't ask what I'm doing, your weak mind can't handle that.

This is my first tryout for a DC. I looked and immediately fell in love with him, he's beautiful. Anyway, thanks for making such a wonderful DC to try out for.

"Family is just the same as friends, but worse. I left my family a long time ago. Were I to hear them again I would turn and ignore them. They tried to soften me. Treated me like I was weak. I don't want to see them. Why would I? It's not like they had any love for me. They thought it was repulsive to be blind from birth. Repulsive. So they treated me like that. I'll not allow that again. Ever.
So "loved ones" isn't what I'd call anyone's "friends" and family. I'd call them Pawns in a greater game. The one I'm shaping for them."
