hi; i made this thread because i couldn't find anything similar. there doesn't appear to be any threads for those of us CSians who love plants, but if there is, please tell me so that i can delete this one. so, here goes:

this thread is for discussing, showing off, getting/giving advice on and just generally loving plants. this is more aimed at garden and house plants because there's more to talk about with them; but of course all discussion is fully welcome and encouraged! the aim of this thread is to meet like-minded people and gush to them about your plants. nwn

there's no need to fill in a members form to post, just read and follow the rules, that's all that's required.​

2. be polite and respectful - though i don't expect there to be much negativity about plants. ovo
3. if you feel offended, please don't retaliate, just report the person and move on - they aren't worth stressing over.
4. try and be inclusive - some cs users are uncomfortable posting and being ignored may make them not want to post again.
5. please avoid spamming, there's a lot of threads on cs which are more appropriate for other discussions - also, you can take it to pm! (side note: posting two times in a row is considered spamming - please edit your previous post)
6. don't use chatspeak - i completely understand misspellings and not having perfect grammar, not everyone has english as their first language - chatspeak can be difficult to read for those with dyslexia and other conditions, thank you in advance for respecting them.
7. lastly, have fun, this isn't meant to be super serious - just casual discussion!

Do you guys have pics of your babies, if you're raising any? Also, do either of you garden? I need to get out and plant our yearly crops but I've been sick lately.

@Zan I wish I could luv aloe vera but I'm allergic as hell. They're so cute tho I used to raise them!

I don't garden, due to only being near a garden for a few weeks in summer (plus I'm lazy), and I don't currently have any recent pictures of any of the plantchildren in my home, but we have a looot of them.

My mom actually wanted to throw out the aloe vera because it wasnt looking too good. But then I replanted it in a bigger pot (as well as cleaned it, it had lived in the kitchen for years and it was literally covered with sticky oily dusty stuff, just gross) and took it out of direct sunlight, and now it's doing pretty good. My lemon tree died at around 2 years, though. It had some kind of bugs and I never figured out how to deal with them. But it never did grow smooth, shiny leaves, I might have had the wrong kind of soil or something.
