Story: max 500 words Running through the pasture, free as a bird, the wind rushing through my mane. It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, and it was warm. Summer! I thought It's finally Summer! After that long Winter with all of those heavy blankets, it's finally Summer where I can run free without those blankets slowing me down! The grass was so green, the wind so fresh. Then I heard my rider blow her whistle for me to come. I bowed my head and trotted sadly over. No more runner freely I thought ruefully. My rider saddled me up and we practiced jumping and tricks. After we finished she got me water and food then brushed my mane, tail, and fur. She finally let me back into the pasture where I could run again. It had been the best first day of Summer ever.
