Parrapups, or Parras, are an omnivorous, aviary quadrupedal species that originated from tropical areas, but after they were domesticated, they gained more levels of fur and different beaks. All parras spend a lot of time cleaning themselves, and preening their feathers if they have wings. Parras come with a variety of tails and beaks, but good luck finding one that does! Having a large gene pool Parras also have the chance to show some mutations. They come in a large variety of colors including bright neons and dull greys. All parras are a very social in some way and love to whistle, sing, and chatter to others- Parra or not!

Zhēn is quite the temperamental young parra. Her mood tends to be unpredictable and prone to change at a moments notice. Zhēn tries her best to be a calm and collected parra, like her parents and grandma, but she has never been able to keep her temper under control. Zhēn has always been very well-meaning, but she seems to start a lot of fights on accident -- and that's the exact opposite of what she wants to happen. The reason for this is, despite the fact that she is very logically minded and straightforward, she is not always been the most agreeable parra and she can be very stubborn about her ideas and especially about what she thinks is right. Zhēn also has the bad habit to be very judgemental of other parras and what they think. Her critiques are always truthful, but they tend to be hurtful of other parra's feelings -- and she usually doesn't realize it, she just thinks she is being helpful by telling them how they can improve. Zhēn herself, however, does not respond well to criticism. She is easily offended and tends to take what other parras say the wrong way. Zhēn is very prideful and she also has the bad habit to obsess over things. If there was a tangle in her mane, she would brush at it for hours until it was gone. She takes a lot of pride in how she looks and it would bother her if anything was wrong with her appearance. Zhēn also obsesses over the little bit of treasure she has a lot, though she doesn't do it as much as Pandora.

Zhēn's dream castle (that will only ever be a dream) would be a traditional Chinese castle, nothing overly unique. The castle would be large enough for a family of 20 or more parras, a lot bigger than the small Chinese castle that she grew up in. The outside of the castle would look bland and abandoned, but the inside would be a much different story. There would be chandeliers hanging in all the rooms and hallways and there would be gold engraved into beautiful patterns on the ceilings, walls, and floors, while some floors would be made of polished wood or tile. Golden statues of dragons would sit outside all the doors and above the door frames and all around the castle. In the large hall ways, the ceilings would be painted with scenes of dragons from the Chinese history and in some rooms, red pillars would hold up the ceilings. The castle would be equipped with bedrooms to vast pantries to a large treasury for all of Zhēn's gold.

Floods - Even though the Chinese dragon is said to have control over floods and hurricanes, Zhēn is terrified of them, even just a little rain could scare her out of her skin (which embarrasses her a lot). She is terrified of the destruction a flood could bring and drowning in a flood since she couldn't fly away like some other Parras.

Isolation - Zhēn might be antisocial and she might not hang out with a lot of parras, but she is deathly afraid of being isolated and alone. She is almost never found alone by herself, she usually just spends time with Pandora or her family. She also has to sleep in the same room as someone or she can't sleep at all.

Ghosts - Zhēn is afraid of ghosts, not because they're creepy, because she's uncomfortable with the idea that all her dead loved ones are watching her. She doesn't want to disappoint them or do something unforgivable, because she knows that they would see it and when she died, they always be there to remind her of it.

Wolfish. Twins.'s Pandora - He is Zhēn's best friend (Zhēn wishes he was more than a friend), despite acting like a royal brat half the time and having the annoying tendency to obsess over his hoard of treasure rather than spending time with Zhēn. Both parras are particularly odd-looking, sharing a resemblance - and some pesky personality traits - with dragons, which is what led to them meeting and becoming best friends. Pandora cares a lot for Zhēn, but he can't admit it because she would never let him forget it. They tend to argue like an old married couple because of Zhēn's pesky habit to accidentally start fights and Pandora's tendency to be a snob, but they would never let anything ruin their friendship.

Sucre/"Sugar" - Zhēn finds this parra particularly odd. She tried to talk to her once but then the strange parra suddenly started rambling on about beautiful days, a big frightening ducky, and her inevitable doom which scared the poor Zhēn away, she was expecting anything but that! She later realized that the parra shared Zhēn's logical head but Zhēn is worried that Sucre might have another one of her strange outbursts so Zhēn doesn't talk to her too much.
