Poem:
A Majesty
Not contained
By force,
But directed
By silence
An Elegance
Not gained
By control,
But grown
By subtlety
A Purity
Not made
By hands,
But found
By perceiving
A Presence
Not seen
By eyes,
But imagined
By feeling

Poem:
Wearing the bandits mask,
He frolics and dances through out the park,
Bandicoot, the thief, the sneak
At your picnic, he'll take a peak,
If he finds something he wants to eat.
And he likes all things sweet,
He will come to take your food,
But he is not being rude,
For it is just his way,
And it's the way he likes to play.

Poem:
Christmas thoughts, so sweet and dear,
reminds me of those so near.
The snow lay thickly on the ground, and snowflakes lightly dance around.
The mountain streams so cold and clear,
wash away my cares and fears.
The things you said that warmed my soul,
and made me feel like a little foal.
The warmth inside just cant compare,
the way I feel when you are there.
This Christmas cheer will last the year,
The little stockings, and prancing deer.
but most of all, of great and small,
the one on which I'll always call.
Of all the equids that I have past,
my memories of you will last
and together, we'll stand fast.
both now and forever.

We are here, but you do not see us;
we make no sound, but yet you hear us;

we are the shadows you'll never know.

Poem:
With my eyes wide open,
I see what I really am,
Accustom, loved, happy, and found.
who I can be and how I can reach it.
Its not always so close or so easy.
But I see what I really am.
I walk this earth with my eyes wide open.
Sometimes I lose myself over time and start to cover my eyes.
I don't like what I see.
I can't see who I am anymore.
Anew, scared, confused, and lost.
Who am I? Where am I?
My eyes won't open.
I can't be it, and I won't reach it.
My eyes are closed.

Poem:
(FYI: These are NOT all typos or accidental mis-spellings; I was trying to mimic the way he'd talk in the poem!
I imagine Burns as a poet himself, but a simple fellow, not very show-y at all.)
I do luve the highlands a' covered with snow;
And I luve the valleys sae green far below;
And a' the deer running, and a' the bright flow'rs,
And a' the blue birdies what sing in their bow'rs.
My heart's in the highlands a' red 'neath the sun,
Where 'round autumn forests fierce river-floods run;
Where Springtime paints colors and sings in the breeze,
And Summer sings harm'ny with wind in the trees.
Farewell to the Highlands a' covered with heath,
Farewell to the valleys sae green far beneath;
I've left my fair highlands, my heart for to rove,
Tae follow thee, my bonny lass, for you are my luve.
Congratulations!
