[color=transparent]xxxxx[/color]the wildflowers surrounded me. they were everywhere. dainty, delicate petals swaying in the breeze, they gave off a majestic vibe. as if they [i]knew[/i] they were beautiful, as if they knew what gracefulness they had. as if they knew how everyone admired them so. they seemed to taunt me, looming high above my head, dancing in the breeze while i was on the ground.
[color=transparent]xxxxx[/color]in this dream, i was small. about the same size as an ant, able to be crushed by what was usually a gentle motion. i don't know why i was so small, but it added to the surreal beauty of the place. for some reason, i felt a bit lighter, too. as if being smaller would change anything.
[color=transparent]xxxxx[/color]in the distance sat a house. not any house, though... [i]my[/i] house. it's old, and perhaps a little small, but i find it to be friendly, and warm. ever since i was small, i had wanted to live somewhere like that... but it's beside the point now. let's return to the scenery.

{ { name } } This Plumerian's name is Chikuden. Chikuden is Japanese (逐電) meaning "flight." It was inspired by the name of the photo "Dream of Fly."

Chikuden's favourite dream is one she used to have a lot as a child, she'd tend to have it often if she was feeling stressed or upset and it would be a comfort to her.

She's walking in a huge rolling meadow of grass, tiny dewdrops on the grass glisten as the dawn light falls on them. There's no trees, or buildings, or anything. Just her, the beautiful meadow dotted with tiny daisies and the huge open sky. Everything is slightly off-coloured because of the sun-rise which is slowly rising ahead of her. The sky is all shades of soft pink and dusky purple. Mostly she likes the way she feels there. Warm and safe, as if nothing could ever harm her in the meadow. She keeps walking towards the sun rise, and no matter how long she walks, her feet never tire.

She cannot catch the sunrise of course, but she loves to see the colours and the sparkling grass. The further she walks, the lighter her feet feel. Eventually, the tips of the blades of grass are barely brushing her paws. She's floating. Higher and higher, step by step, she walks into the sky. The grass looks like a huge expanse of shining green ocean. A gentle breeze seems to make it sway, almost as if there are actual waves. Chikuden is flying. She feels peaceful and calm, and on the side a little bit terrified, but she knows she won't ever fall. If she does, the soft meadow is there to catch her.

Eventually she begins to descent back to the meadow. She was flying just by walking on the wind, but now her paws are firmly on the ground again. She hears a whisper of 'Be safe, precious one,' and blinks open to find herself lying in her bed.

It's always nice, to dream that is.
To imagine your feet barely skim the ground.
To imagine the wind lifting you into the baby blue sky.
Although you can never truly venture there,
it's still nice to dream.

Just because gravity demands your paws are stuck,
firmly fixed on the surface.
It doesn't mean you can't dream.
Because anyone who's anyone knows
Behind the earth-stuck feet
Is a head filled with dreams of clouds and star dust.

If you notice, there is a shared affinity for the sky.

Favorite Dream;; You held me, like you would never let me go. I looked up, you had your soft smile, but you were fading away. I knew I would never see you again, but I knew it was okay. Dead inside.

That's how I feel. Every day. Dreams are hard to come by. Quick flashes of white light. I'm awake.

My dream was vivid. As though I was there. It was the same place every night. But each night a different story. I could control the story. I lived in a castle. I flew on the backs of dragons. I fought alongside soldiers. I did... whatever I wanted to do.

I didn't know at the time that I was special. That I was any different from anyone else. I thought everyone had dreams like this. But I suppose the burdens of age can change your dreams. My stories ended at the age of ten.

I'm twenty now though you wouldn't know it. My eyes still show a young girl. Trapped inside of an adult. My tired manner shows many years of age that I haven't gone through. I almost appear elderly and childish at the same time. Losing your world does that to you.

I've had a dream since I was young

Basically, it has to be made FOR the character and form, not a pre-made poem or one you found on the internet or in a book. x3
