Name: Albert
Name Meaning: Albert is an old Germanic name that was originally a portmanteau of two words which meant "noble" and "bright". The name was common among royalty in older ages, but was popularised again when Prince Albert, born of Germany, married Queen Victoria of England.
How he feels about his albinism: He's actually pretty comfortable with it. It's the way he has been his entire life, and he can't change that, and that's okay. He knows that he's worth just as much as any other Nem no matter what colour he is. Of course, that's his own view on it. There are a few Nems out there who seem to think he's either a freak or some sort of incredible, amazing anomaly; two different ends of the spectrum, yes, but either way they're the same in that they treat him differently. The latter sort Albert knows are just eccentric in their admiration, but it can occasionally grate on his nerves when he's has a lot of Nems give an impressed gasp or stare. Now, for the former... he's much less tolerant of them. They treat him more like a burden than a Nem, and while most are at least polite, some can act rather hostile towards him. He's not into violence, though — he's actually considering pledging himself to peace as a pacifist — but he rather tries to educate those who take a different stance on the colour of his wool.
Personality: Albert may be against violence, but he does realise that others aren't, so it's not uncommon for him to be wary of new Nems before he gets to know them — he's come across more than enough (well, one or two) Nems who have been hostile towards him to make him this way. Once he's assessed a new Nem, however, he becomes rather excited to spend as much time around them as he possibly can, and it seems he never stops smiling around friends. He also never stops talking, and whether that's a good thing or a bad thing depends on who you ask. He's got a lot to talk about! Because he's always tried to teach others about albinism he has had to do lots of research on it himself, and from there he was able to kindle a fondness for learning. Among lots of useless trivia, Albert loves to study what he says is his true calling: geneticology. Albert doesn't have much to work with out in the forest, but he does his best to learn about the biochemistry behind every stripe, every spot, and every wool colour. When he's done telling his friends about their own pelts he will challenge them to a friendly race, or sparring game, and relishes in whatever occasional victory he can win himself by making it yet another topic for conversation.
