What is a Horned Nemean Dragon?
Horned Nemean Dragons are medium sized creatures that can be found deep within forested areas. Nemean dragons are the size of your average collie. Females are usually smaller than males and lack the traits of ram horns like the males. These animals have small nostrils located on the sides of their narrow muzzles. Nems have three spike like horns coming from their jaw line as a defense against predators. They are mostly plant eating and because of this they do not have very sharp teeth. Occasionally a Nem may eat meat but they tend to find it too difficult to consume. Nems have short stubby tails and very stocky short legs. On top of this, their necks are rather long to help them reach for plants in their environment. These omnivores are quite furry and soft, much like sheep's wool, because that is exactly what their coat is, wool. Nems usually stick to solitude but a few may come together into family units, more so females than males. Nems come in many colors. Their coats are every color on the spectrum except any bright neon colors. A Nem always has either spots or stripes somewhere on their bodies. Another characteristic of these animals is that they have pouches like that of a kangaroo. For the first three months of a Nem's life, it is concealed in the safety of its mother's pouch. Young Nems then begin to explore and are fully grown at the age of three. They no longer can be in their mother's or father's pouch as they become too big by the one year mark. Nems are known to live up to fifteen years.
Rules
•You must be registered for at least two months and have 100 posts to be eligible to adopt.
•You are allowed to adopt a Nem every three days for now, this may change throughout time, otherwise, follow this guideline when adoption. In total, you are allowed to own 8. Customs are not given, they are earned.
•Staff members are allowed two customs per year.
•Respect all staff, no respect, no Nem, and you are likely to receive warnings and maybe be banned from the species.
•You are not allowed to gift or sale your Nems, though you can ask to readopt them out by contacting the artist. You can also order a breeding for another user.
•Do not claim these lines as your own or use the image in any way other than a reference for drawing.
•Nems are allowed accessories and can be added to the official lines
•Please do not complain if you don't win a Nem, you will have other chances. Also, do not ask to become a staff member, I will appoint staff when I feel the need for them, which will be held in competitions.
•if the artist doesn't say you are allowed to edit the form, including centering, changing colors etc, then don't, otherwise your entry will not be counted. You also will not be added to your Nem's page, if you need something, ask.
•Keep everything on topic, do not ask the same questions that have been answered before, check the front for answered questions.
•If you are banned, the artists can revoke your Nem if they feel the need. You will not be allowed to adopt any Nems and if you have a Nem in nursery lines, it will not grow unless I have given permission.

Breeding/Growth Rules
•Nems can breed a total of four times. Nems mate for life, meaning they only have one mate, so be confident when you and another user decide to have your Nems become mates, you can't change it afterwards. Nem's can breed two weeks after their growth or creation. If you want your Nem to be mates with the same gender, you will not be able to breed your Nem.
•You must wait two weeks before you can ask the artist to grow your Nem.
•You are allowed two suggestions in breedings when sending forms to artists when they are open for breedings. It is up to the artist on whether or not they require a price for breedings. This can be found on the breeding topic, do not post there please.
•Inbreeding, no matter how far apart is not allowed.
•Only male x female breedings are allowed.
•There is only one Nem produced per breeding.
•Quoted permission is not taken, you must show permission either by a screen shot or that user(s) posting somewhere allowing you to breed that Nem with another.
•Your Nem can breed every two weeks.
