Why She is Blind:
Deliee has had many "accidents" as a young mare, as it may involve small fish, a blue jay, or maybe even a honeybee, it will get her hurt. She isn't a real clumsy mare, but she just doesn't really think about things before she does them. One afternoon, she went for a walk, mesmerized by a ball of paper. Not knowing what it was, she tasted it. Not tasting good she sniffed it. Liking how it smelt like strawberries, she tried pushing it. Realizing how it was light as a feather, she kicked it. Soon to stop rolling down the meadow hill, it un- crumpled. Seeing it had words on it, in very nicely writing, she gave it a try to read it.

Dear Michael,

My father its happy with me seeing you. I don't agree with him, but my father is a very wise man. If it is true between us, we will see each other again in the future. I am leaving in the morning to go to Germany to start traveling the world. Please don't show up, I don't want to say good bye.

It was in the meadow but the winds were very strong that day. Deliee, as not thinking about things, just started running after the letter as it was flying away... Flying towards a horse farm, barbwire had appeared randomly as she thought, she couldlnt stop herself as she had ran in the mud from a close flowing pond. She slide and was afraid of what would happen to her as she collided with the sharp wire. After a few hours it felt like, the owner of the farm had found her scrapped and covered in the painful barb wire. Finding out that her left eye had been very badly damaged after cleaning her up, he called the vet. When she was done looking her over, she had shared the message with the owner, over hearing them, Deliee was so scared as she heard more and more about how her right eye would be challenging for her to see out of and she could see ever again out of her left.... After many years of living with some other equines on the farm, her right eye had changed colors from a brown to a yellow, & had learned how to use her other senses to "see" things, or imagine them as she had a very wild imagination as well as being part dreamer, she actually okay with using her other senses and has learned to think about things more than to not think about them.

Jayden was the Bicker's family's most prized possession. They waited on her hand and foot. They got her mane cut regularly, shampooed it to ensure the softness, and kept her equidshoes perfectly fitted to her tiny, fragile feet to parade her up and down the streets of Finely. With a strict no touch rule, of course. Now, even though the Bicker's wanted to spoil their little possession, they also wanted to keep her safe. At night, they would have her care taker -- you didn't think they were going to do it themselves, did you? -- to lock her up in her paddock at night. This care taker had begun to slack off with his work lately, and ultimately, left her in her enclosed pasture. The coyotes nearby have grown accustomed to passing through this pasture every night, and now, Jayden, for the first time in her life was left unprotected. Jayden panicked, and try to run away from the coyotes, but there was no where to run, except for into the fence. In a blind fury, Jayden tried to jump over the fence and failed. her legs were tangled, and her eye? It was left blind. The Bicker's let their once prized possession go out to the public- for free. She was no longer prized in their eyes. A homeless man whom was rumored to live amongst the wild equids themselves, healed her wounds enough to leave no scars, and took care of her for the rest of her days, but there was always one blind scar, that remained of her release from royalty.

Name: Arista

Why She is Blind:
Arista was a competitive filly. She couldn't stand being ignored, and would never relent until her charms prevailed. And one day, such a challenge did occur. A handsome stallion a few fields away gracing in a lush green field. Despite most of her soft whinnys and flirtatious whickerings, the stallion had only glanced up once, flicked his ears dismissively and went right back to grazing. And this bothered her personally more than anything. To be simply brushed off...
That's when she realized it. She was too far away! He couldn't see her eyes! Of course! She just had to get closer!
The only thing standing in the way was a horrific twisted metal fence with teeth..
And so, all for the sake of vanity and pride, she took off on fleet legs and gathered her strength, leaping into the air and soaring over the fence... Until her back hind leg caught in the cruel metal spines and snagged, jerking her flight to an abrupt and rude halt and sending her careening to the ground in squeals of pain.
But despite what might seem obvious, the metal barbwire was not what actually caused her to go blind. It was the fall. Arista crashed into the ground and bashed her head against the soil, feeling a sharp pain burst through her skull, before everything went black. To this day her right eye couldn't focus.. It only saw fuzzy dim shadows. The dull and unimpressive cloudy silver coloring of her right eye is very blind. Needless to say, she was never quite so proud again, and to this day tends to keep her right eye closed or turned away from others.

Why She is Blind: Low and behold this bay beauty has always been blind; And that was her downfall from birth. Due to such an impairment, the young filly was left to be in a forest on her own shortly after standing and opening her eyes. Her parents assumed that being half blind was as bad as being full blind; and surly something would have to bring about the young filly's death, and make an issue in the herd. The filly was alone for less than an hour before another female equid came upon her, having recently lost her own foal and took in the young filly; and all was well. She was given the name Desdemona, Desme for her little nickname as many gave their offspring. The older mare did not notice the fillies impairment for a while; two years to be precise. When Desme was two, she wandered into a humans camp in the wee hours of the morning, and as she stuck her head through a fence to reach for an apple on the ground; a large blood hound noticed her, and she was spooked; knocking her head into the barbed wire beside her, and trapping her head. With much pain, and as scared as she was, she was able to pull free; but not before giving herself a small scar across her right eye. As she returned home, others believed it was the barbed wire that made her blind; she played along of course, not wanting to spoil the night. She never did get her apple though. Her right eye, because of this incident, has become a milky white color.

Name: Tell {Based from The Tell-Tale Heart}

Why She is Blind: It was a story she didn't like to share. There were hoards of questions directed towards her, but only one really threw her astray. It was as others gazed at her unseeing eye, stained a pale, dead blue. How is it you have a single, amber eye? It wasn't always so, no. No, she once had two gleaming eyes of tinted orange, both eyes were once the questioned amber. Her darkest day, the eve of her first full year of life: the day she loses her hope and visions. She was... confused. Her mother told her she would leave, that Tell could last on her own. She didn't- wouldn't- believe her. Scared and lost, she journeyed away in search of a haven. When her travels landed her by a warm light that danced with freedom, her curiosity got the reigning hold on her senses. She moved forward, closer and closer. She had not noticed the way the wood charred, nor what waited at the base of the light. All she knew was that it was just so... welcoming. When a the flame licked her nose at the proximity, she scampered back, only to be caught in a sharp wire that outlined the light. She tumbled, head smacking the ground with brain-jarring force. When she stood, she could only grimace at thee way her vision blurred, only barely seeing the way a thick, red substance pooled across a sharp stone.

Lark was a very wild young filly. She was always curious and into something. Until one day. Lark was out exploring like always and had heard a noise in the distance. She went to investigate and found herself trapped in horse wranglers fences. She was scared and all the other horses were running and crying loudly. She became disoriented and run straight into the barb wire fence. She screamed and all the other horses turned and ran the other way. The wranglers freed her after the loaded the other horses and left her laying in the dirt. A little blue roan filly came to her aid after they had left. She said her name was sage and that she would help Lark.Larks eye and face were badly cut and the dirt in her eye caused a severe infection leaving Lark without her one eye. But thanks to Sage she is still as wild and curious as ever and her other eye shows a true lilac color.

Solarity was adventurous as a foal and got herself into all sorts of troublesome situations, though only one of those times has left a permanent reminder. When she was only 6 months old and had not long weened herself from her mothers milk she decided to venture further than she had ever done so far in her short life, she heard strange sounds of creatures she had never heard before and this made her want to find out what was making these noises.. Her mother had never spoken of noises like this before, so curiosity drew her towards the sounds. Before long she found herself at a strange thing, it had funny shaped short trees standing upright in the earth and in a peculiar line, with shiny lines running between these odd trees. Sol knew the sounds she had heard must have been made on the other side of this strange barrier so she poked her head through and found the strange shiny lines gave way a little, but not quite enough for her to squeeze through so she withdrew her head and was met with a sharp intense pain in her left eye. She hadn't realised that the top line had sharp pointy bits on it and it was this which had snagged on her eye and her gorgeousness bright turquoise eye became a faded blue. Sol could no longer see through her damaged left eye, though it hasn't stopped her from exploring...


I think her other eye would be a nice rich turquoise
