Plans: For New Years I plan to do many things, those of which include the following: wait til sunset to take some fireworks down to the river and watch their reflection in the water as they are set off, hang out with my family and pets while eating barbaqued burgers and other "typical american" foods, call everyone that couldn't be with me on this day and tell them how much I love them and wish they were there, stay up all night in order to welcome the new year and watch the countdown on tv before going outside and using whatever we can to make the most noise possible, make a New Year's resolution that will (to be completely honest) I will not go through with/stick with for long, and think about how lucky I am to be born into a time and place where I am free and have all of the things I need to survive and then some.

Well for New Years I plan on being able to go back to Greece and visit my older siblings who I saw last year and couldn't see this year do to money problems and couldn't afford the airfare, so that is why I plan on vising them next year as I miss them very much.

Plans: {I thought you meant new Years! Ugh I looked at everyone else's posts and got paranoid xD} This is sort of crazy, but a couple of friends and I plan to take our friend Dawn to Paris with us to see the Eiffel tower; since Dawn has been so depressed since a few months back her Skin Cancer came back and all her family's money is basically going into her treatment. She's always wanted to see Paris, so we decided to pool our funds together and make it happen for her (: And it being on New Years was fitting, because we wanted to show her that she's a survivor, a fighter, and life goes on to a new, brighter, and better year. It's also kind of a reward for all her time in the hospital and going through treatment! She's been so strong through all of it, it's the least we can do.

[b]Plans: Like every year, I plan to spend my new year with my family. First, we go to our local bowling place with about 7-10 other people besides my parents and sister. Then, we go back to my house, eat a whole bunch of snacks for dinner including shrimp, cheese and crackers, and a variety of other snack foods. For the time between then and the countdown, we play video games and watch movies. We watch the countdown with sparkling wine, and then go back to video games until about 4 am c: on the actual day of New Years, we don't really do anything, though.
