If you looked up Tomboy in the dictionary,
you would see a picture of Adelaide.
Although she is very young, her brothers (mostly Tyrion)
are teaching her how to play sports and skateboard. She
loves all extreme sports, but skateboarding is her specialty.
Addy is usually quite sweet, but if she doesn't
get 9 hours of sleep, she gets grumpy and grouchy.
She always expects too much of herself, and pushes herself
to far (and Tyrion just encourages it!). She has hurt herself
a few times, but she loves a good adrenaline rush,
so she keeps on going. She loves the outdoors and the idea
of winning. Being very competitive, she and her brothers
often have races to see who is the fastest. Addy hopes to
go big places in her life, but for now
she is content with her family and friends that she has.Likes

Family Relations
Shroom:
Adelaide gets a lot of her energy and daring from her mother.
She loves Shroom and does a lot of things with her. To her,
Shroom is more than a mother, almost like a best friend.
Although, Shroom's clingy, caring side sometimes annoys her.
She doesn't like it when Shroom worries about her, or is
scared she'll get hurt. Addy prefers when Shroom goes
running with her or plays soccer with her.
OJ:
Addy loves her father very much, but she can't say she relates to
him much. Her father is grumpy, sassy, lazy, and over protective.
Addy might get a bit of sass from him, but that's it. They don't
do much together, and Addy knows to all out avoid him in the
mornings. She sometimes pulls a small prank on him and blames
it on Tryion, but they always laugh it out in the end.
Tyrion:
Her brother Tyrion is a sort of role model for Addy. She wants to
be exactly like him when she grows up, and very much loves him.
She learned many sports from him, and he always encourages her
to go a little faster, push a little harder. Together, they are
troublemakers and go everywhere together. Tyrion is her
favorite brother out of the two, but don't tell Wheatley that.
He's sensitive.
Wheatley:
You know how in movies there is always one person who is the
worry wart and is like "I don't think we should be doing this
guys..."? Well That's Wheatley. Addy loves him as she loves all
her family, but he sometimes can be a wimp. He is always
tripping over his own four feet and is scared of everything.
She is often annoyed by him, but he comes along on their
journeys anyway because Shroom would be mad if she left him
behind. He acts like the youngest although she is, and hates
going on adventures. Addy likes to prank him with Tyrion,
but they never let it get too carried away for it might make
the shy bean cry.
The Woods and the Soccer Ball"You really think you can beat me Addy?" Tyrion smirked, running towards his little sister.
"Yeah, I do!" Adelaide yelled back, the black and white soccer ball in between her feet. She saw her brother hurtling towards her, and ran harder towards his goal.
I can't let him beat me! She thought, just as her feet tangled up with the ball and tripped her.
Tyrion took the ball from his sister and ran it back around towards her goal.
He kicked it in, and Wheatley, who was being the referee, blew his whistle and announced "Tryion scores a point! So... That's... 7 to 8... I think. Maybe it's 8 to 7... Anyway, Tyrion is in the lead!"
Adelaide pushed herself up and shook her head at the middle child. Wheatley was so weird sometimes. Tyrion was still gloating about getting a goal, so she ran around and took the ball from him.
"He-ey! That's not fair!" Tyrion said, whipping around.
"I did nothing against the rules!" Addy yelled back as she sprinted towards her brothers goal.
The bigger, older bean was catching up to her, so she made a spur of the moment decision. She kicked the soccer ball from the middle of he field.
Her foot went farther under the ball than she intended, and it was kicked up, rather than straight. It flew up, high into the air, then arched down the the ground, in the middle of the tall, dark pine forest that was right next to their home.
"Uh-oh..." Tyrion stopped and stared in shock along with Addy. Wheatley panicked, freaking out about the ball. "This is bad. This is very very bad. That was Momma's ball! She'll be so angry that we lost it! I can't bear to see her sad... What if we all get grounded; forever! Oh no oh no oh noo..."
Addy and Tryion laughed at their silly brother. "You're right, Wheatley." Tyrion said. Wheatley looked up at him in surprise. "Mother probably will be angry that we lost her ball. So we won't lose it. We're just going to have to go get it."
"We're going into the forest? I-I've never been in a forest before..." Adelaide whispered.
Wheatley gulped. "The forest could be dangerous... Aand It's off limits!"
"Come on guys. Are you all wimps?" Tryion taunted, heading towards the trees.
"No! Of course not!" Addy defended, catching up to him.
Wheatley just shook his head and followed his siblings.
At the edge of the forest Addy stopped for a second.
Tiny claws pierced fallen leaves and scraped across the cold dirt. Adelaide and her brothers were making their way through the forest. The chilly Autumn air swept up the leaves and danced around the adventurers, orange and brown the only colors in sight. Their footsteps echoed hollowly in the frozen ground, seeds and twigs sticking to their fur.
The biggest, oldest sibling was walking with confidence, his fear nonexistent.
The second child was quivering with fear, his small, shy frame vibrating.
And the youngest, smallest bean? She was following her brothers, seemingly curious and unafraid. But in truth Adelaide was cautious of all the new sights and smells, and admittedly a little freaked out. Her overprotective father had told them all never to go into the forest without an adult, and that's exactly what they were doing.
She took a deep breath and sighed. This was not like her! She was acting like Wheatley! She calmed herself. It's just trees. Trees and leaves. They can't hurt me! She told herself, running ahead of Wheatley and positioning herself between her brothers.
Tyrion looked back at his little sister. "You're not scared, are you?" He asked. "Don't worry, I'll protect you!"
Addy nodded, smiling weakly. "I don't need protecting. Let's just find the ball as quickly as possible and get back home."
Wheatley mumbled something about spiders and nodded, catching up to Tyrion.
Not very long after, Tyrion stopped. "What is it?" Addy asked.
"There's a fork in the path." He replied. "Which way should we go?" He looked at Wheatley.
"What?" Wheatley shrugged. "How am I supposed to know which way?"
Addy sighed. "Let's go right. Right is always the right way in movies."
Her brothers agreed, and they set off.
As they were walking along the trail, Wheatley stumbled into a hole in the ground. "Ow ow owww!" He cried, tugging at his foot. "It's stuck! I'm too young to diiee! Don't leave me!!"
"We won't, Wheat." Adelaide said. "Just calm down and hold still. We'll get you out." She walked over to her brother, Tyrion behind her, and started to dig around Wheatley's ankle.
Tyrion understood and joined in digging, Wheatley whimpering the whole time.
"Done. Pull your foot up, Wheatley." Tyrion instructed, stepping back.
Wheatley timidly pulled his foot out of the hole-made-ditch, and smiled. "Thank you! You saved my life!"
Addy smirked. "Your welcome Wheat. If you owe me your life, you can be my slave!"
Wheatley saluted his younger sister. "Yes ma'am!"
Tyrion shook his head. "Just keep on walking, soldier."
It was now noon, and the soccer ball was yet to be found. The siblings had found several interesting tree formations along the trail, and Tyrion had planned the perfect spot for a tree house. But the three young beans were tiring.
"Shouldn't we have found the ball by now? I can't have kicked it that far!" Adelaide
"I bet Momma Shroom is so worried... What if she calls the police for missing children?" Wheatley worried out loud.
Her brother was starting to annoy Addy. "She'll be fine. As long as we're home before dinner, it's okay." She reassured him, running ahead.
"Where do you think you're going? Stay with the group!" Tyrion commanded, grabbing Adelaide by the scruff and pulling her back.
"Stop! You could still see me! There's no rule against going ahead!" Addy defended.
"It's not safe, Adel, and O.J. Will kill all of us if we come back hurt." Tyrion said.
"Don't call me that!"
"Adel, Adel, Adel!"
"Say that one more time and I'll bite you!"
"Oh really, Ade-"
"STOP FIGHTING!!!" Wheatley shouted, pushing Addy and Tyrion apart. "Let's just find this stupid ball and get home."
"Good idea, Wheat." Addy said. "I'm sorry Tyrion."
"No, I'm sorry for teasing you." Tyrion apologized.
"Forgiven." Addy nodded.
"Good. Come on, I think a see a pond in the distance!" Wheatley announced.
There was indeed a small pond, with Lily pads and frogs and fish. A fallen tree acted as a bridge across the whole thing, and right next the the log was a black and white ball, floating in the water.
The three beans looked at each other. "The ball!" Tyrion said in awe.
"I'll go get it!" Adelaide announced. She dashed off the trail and over to the pond.
"Be careful Addy!" Wheatley called as she stepped onto the tree.
Staying on four legs, Addy carefully inched herself across the tree out into the middle of the pond. I shouldn't have done this... she thought as her secret fear of water clouded her mind. But she pushed it away. Tyrion and Wheat can never know! They'd think I'm weak! She shook her head, then she slowly stretched her arm out to the ball. Her claws grazed it, sending the ball spinning farther out of reach. Scowling, she stretched her arm out a little farther until she could grab the ball.
Her fingers wrapped around the ball, claws digging into the bark of the tree. She tried to pull the ball a little closer, and slipped.
Her fluffy body made on final stretch and leapt at the ball. She pulled at close and took a deep breath before her head went underwater. She kicked her legs ferociously, but seemed to be getting nowhere.
Back at the shore, her brothers exchanged worried glances. "Can she swim?" Wheatley asked.
Tyrion shook his head. "I don't know."
Still underwater, Addy struggled to break the surface. She cursed herself for doing this. She should have let Tyrion go after the ball. At least he wasn't scared of water.
But her brothers could never learn. They would just tease her. Putting the soccer ball between her legs, she used her arms to help swim, and took a huge gulp of air. She looked down. The pond was much deeper than she had anticipated.
Struggling back to shore, Adelaide lay panting on the grass, the ball on her stomach. She looked up at her worried brothers. "Shut Up. I'm fine. Let's just go home." Addy said before her brothers could utter a word.
Dinner was cooking when they arrived home. O.J. and Shroom ran over to them, surprised to see them dirty and Addy sopping wet. "What happened? Where were you three?" Shroom asked as Addy set down the soccer ball.
"Well, we were just playing soccer." She said, smiling.
