Name:
Elynn (EYE-lin)
Meaning:
"Light" or "most beautiful"
Story:
Oh beautiful one, adorned with spell
To ravage my world as might a sweet angel.
Oh beautiful thing, so much at ease:
Allure of caressing breeze in touch gentle.
Oh beautiful creature, sail me do,
As floating on seas of halcyon blue tincture.
You beautiful being, gracing charm
And features that render feel of deep texture.
Your beautiful poise in glide supreme,
Gives such like a vista honed as from heaven.
That beautiful art of face ornate,
Not ever to understate or be riven.
Your beautiful flame of pulchritude
Doth dizzy me high, so I conclude always
You beautiful girl forever be
My shining Elynn; my guide; my stairway.

Name: Aylin
Meaning: Means "moon halo" in Turkish
Story: Aylin was born into a decent sized herd of seven FAEs which consisted of only her mother and a couple other mares that had banded together after her father was lost to a great storm with raging winds. As a young filly, Aylin was very spooky and jumped at the slightest movement of a shadow in the distance causing her to stay close to her mother. This was all fine and dandy until a large group of humans seized her away once she reached the age of two. This would also be the first time she would be away from her mother over her two years of aging. A year or so after her capture, she began to trust the humans who bathed her as well as fed and watered her. Early into these stages of trust, she was met with a test that was truely an accident waiting to happen. A small and yappy border collie puppie had escaped his litter and changed toward the pasture where she currently stood. Upon entering under the fence, the pup had moved quickly for it's wably legs as it soon was daring to nip at her hooves. Alyin had remained calm beyond what her nature was telling her and leaned her head down to the young creature. Pushing it ever so gently with her velvet nose, she led it away and out of the path of a small group of running FAEs toward the fence where she remained with it until a human had come by and noticed the pup and the action that the silver and white mare took to keep it out of harms way. Her wild side had been calmed, and bloomed into a sweet girl who's silver coat seemed to glow under a full moon, hence her name.

<33 Thank you for the beautiful entries guys!
Kiwilady, your edited poem was lovely, and I especially loved the fact that you used the world pulchritude! I dunno if that was part of the original poem or not, but still, loved it!
But I do think I'm going to award this FAE to LeopardFlame, it was a really cute story and just what I was looking for in an entry, I hope you enjoy Aylin!
Thank you both for trying out, and good luck with your future entries c:
