Hello and welcome to the Cretoz Unicorn V2 adoption page! Please pardon our mess! We are currently going through a change of management and have some growing pains! Never fear, we are still in 100% working condition! Check out our adoption rules below and check above to see if there are any beauties available for adoption!

If you own a Cretoz from V1:
You still own your unicorns! I will be compiling an archive shortly! You are still able to enjoy all the benefits of ownership, including breeding!

Our adoptions rules are simple and they have changed from V1

- You must be registered for at least a month and must have at least 100 forum posts.
- You may NOT sell your Cretoz. You may give them away in the form of a personal gift or readoption.
- The artist will decide if you are allowed to edit/pretty up/add extras to your form.
- You may own an unlimited amount of Cretoz Unicorns.
- You may only win one Cretoz Unicorn per week. The week begins on the day you're announced as the winner. Breeding cooldown does not affect adoption cooldown, and vice versa.
- Anyone can win, including other artists, owners, mods, etc.

- You must see if a breeding artist is open. Their status can be checked in the breeding thread HERE. (coming soon)
- Your bred foal will be designed by the artist. You may ask for up to two features from the parents, but that in no way guarantees the outcome.
- Bred foals will show up here, just like regular adopts. There is not nursery, growing threads, etc.
- Artists may have different criteria for who they do and do not take breedings from.
- Be patient waiting for breeding artist to open slots and complete your breeding.
- Once your breeding is posted, there is a 2 week cooldown, starting on the date your breeding is posted.
- Each Cretoz Unicorn has 10 breeding slots available.
- Twins are incredibly uncommon and will take up two slots. Do not ask for twins.
- The person that requests the breeding gets the foal. You do not need to own the unicorn(s) used in the breeding, but I will need permission from the owner(s).
- Two overos may not breed together. In real life, double overo genes cause Lethal White Syndrome and, to avoid that from becoming a thing to Cretoz Unicorns, we don't allow two overo unicorns to breed. We do, however, allow overos to breed with other types of paint patterns.

Cross-Marks
- Cross-Marks appear on all Cretoz Unicorns.
- Often only one or two colours.
- Stem from the spine, so they can manifest anywhere from poll to tail. They MUST touch the back of the unicorn between the withers and the hip. They may not be on the neck only or the tail only, they have to extend past either point on their back.
- Can be quite large, extending down as far as the hooves in extreme cases.
- Must all stem from the same line. No "broken" cross-marks.
- Come in many different shapes, designs, and patterns.

Colour Info:
- Cretoz Unicorns come in colours found naturally in the world, mostly colours that can be found in their cousin, the horse! However, their hooves, horns, and the males spurs can come in any, often bright colours!
- Because Cretoz Unicorns are secretive, all of the colours they can come in are still unknown.

Special Colours:
- Vibrant: "Vibrance in Cretoz Unicorns expresses itself by enhancing the base coat of the unicorn, often in unexpected ways. A red roan might end up actually very red, and a palomino might end up green! Many things can happen!

Events:
Events are done for a particular purpose. They may feature a theme (such as Pride or Valentine's Day) and that is the only joining factor they require. They do not need to have a super definite pattern or scheme, which sets them apart from Special Groups. Event CUs are breedable to any CU, but they have FIVE breeding slots instead of the regular ten.

Past Events:
Marriage Equality/Pride: For this even there were both customs and regular adopts available. Each Event CU features a rainbow or pride flag pattern or coloration. They have very colourful Cross Marks. With that in mind, their offspring will inherit no more that FOUR of their colours, but no less than two.

Special Groups:
Themed groups of 4+ adoptables that all have a central pattern or scheme. They do not have to fit in the typical "natural colours" of normal CUs, but they must be tastefully done and may not be void black/neon/50 different colours. May not be awarded FCFS and may not be given as customs. The can not breed within their own groups and it is up to the artist as to whether they are breedable to other groups. They must be breedable to regular CUs.

Special Group themes must be distinct from regular CUs. For example, you can have a "dragons" theme, but you may not have an "appaloosas" theme. Please ask Gravity's permission before doing Special Groups.

Other Info:
- Cretoz unicorns vary greatly in size! The largest ever recorded was 20hh, while the smallest was only 11.3hh!!
- Come in many colours! All their colours have roots in the animal kingdom. Typically, horse genetics are very comparable to Cretoz Unicorn genetics.
- The hooves, horns, and spurs of the Cretoz can be many different colours! There are even cases of them being two and three different colours.
- Males grow long spurs. It is speculated the females also have spurs, but they are quite short so that their feathering hides them.

It is not my intention to be a "rip off" of Wild Mountain Equids. I became the owner of this species very recently and have been working to improve it while still keeping true to the species. Cross-marks are not quipping. They are intended to be completely different, which is why I have imposed some restrictions to them.
