Equitragus Cabiger or Itrags(EE-tr-ags) are a recombinant species that are a clever cross between a Sable and a Horse. The horse is most prominant in the shape of head, back legs, and tail. The Sable dominates the rest of the body. Every Itrag has two horns on its head, and the facial markings of the sable have disappeared as they were on mostly unnaturally colored Itrags which have now all but gone extinct(They will show up sometimes). Rarely, the Itrags will be seen with a sable tail. The males have beards on their chins for mating season in the wild where the larger the beard, the better their chances of attracting a female. The species is also gaited.

Rules
-Do NOT claim that you drew the design or lines. You may own the character, but you are NOT the original creator.
-Do NOT remove Zax's signature.
-Feel free to use the Itrag anywhere you like.
-Limit to 12 Itrags per user.
-Do NOT create your own Itrag as the species belongs to myself - (Zax being the original creator).
-Do not ask to become staff of any sort, advertisements will be made when needed.

Explanations and Information.

Owners:
The owners of the Itrag thread have been appointed by Zax or the current owner(s). They are 'in charge' and take the position of mod and artist as well.

Artists:
Full time artists will be making Itrag adoptables for as long as they like, until they retire. They are also capable of completing breedings. Artists can have a total of two customs, for themselves or as a gift for others.

Guest-Artists:
Guest artist can only make adoptables, not breedings. They are artists for six itrags, unless they wish to reapply for the job when the opportunity comes. No customs will be awarded to guest artists.

Moderators:
Mods check around all the links and related subjects, making sure all rules are followed. They answer questions, sort out problems, and are ready to help and negotiate.

Other:
Any other handy helpers such as archivists and advertisers.

Q. Can we have customs?
A. Only if gifted by an artist, won in a competition or event, or if you become an artist yourself. Maybe there will be more opportunities later on.

Q. How do we become artists?
A. When I need artists, I will hold competitions for them. I will always post competition links in the 'applications' and 'updates' sections.

Q. Can my Itrags be coloured as other species?
A. Hmmm, toughie. I would prefer you don't, because then it all gets confusing and it is no longer a real Itrag. As long as you keep the dominant features, horns and the such, it's okay if you make it into a box or ball or something. Just try not to be tempted into a dog or cat.

Q. Can I use other people's Itrags for breeding?
A. Only with their quoted permission.
