♡ What is Forever-Chance ResQ all about? ♥

Forever-Chance ResQ is an animal rescue center, dedicated to adopting out a wide variety of critters, both large and small. Some of the animals brought to us have had a rough past, while a few were picked up off the street. Still others were former pets but the previous owners could not maintain their upkeep, thus surrendering the animals here. Each animal that is brought to FCR goes through a rehabilitation program which assesses their individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. But no matter their background or history, all of the animals here are looking for a new home, where they will be loved unconditionally and forever. Will you adopt one of them, giving them a "forever-chance"?

Forever-Chance ResQ is dedicated to finding the perfect home for each individual creature, and we encourage potential adopters to be 'picky' about which pet you chose to try out for. c: Do not collect these guys like other adoption places here on CS. We wish our animals to be adopted out to caring and dedicated new owners. So please, do not try out for an animal unless you would surely be interested adopting.

This little finch was given to us by an elderly woman who had a surplus amount of finches. She said she is breeder for the birds, but their numbers went out of control and she is finding them new homes. This poor little gal was having troubles settling in because she did not stand out against the other finches being that she is rather monochrome in color.
The little finch is very friendly, active, and loves to sing! She will be a perfect buddy to have at home to keep you company.

Tell me a bit about her: Sweet was just one of the many finches to be hatched at the home of the Finch Woman, as the other townsfolk called her. This little bird got her name from her effervescent personality, different from her brothers and sisters. The elderly woman was very fond of Sweet and it was difficult to take her to the shelter. Sweet especially loves sunflower seeds. Her thick beak allows her to crack the hulls easily and get to the meat inside. Her favorite time of day is noon, when the sun is high and bright and all the birds are singing. She loves to be by her human companion at all times, finding humans to be rather pleasant.

Gypsy loves to chatter, 'sing' , and dance(flap her wings around)! You have to be careful not to say bad things around her because she loves to repeat people- in fact, its her favorite hobby! Gypsy likes music, dogs, and sunflower seeds! However, she dislikes cats, quietness, and closed up spaces.

winter wishes. she simply reminds me of winter, and... winter is kinda... bland. on its own of course~ chirup.
gender ; female :3
nickname; she prefers to be called wish. not winter, though when the winter season arrives it doesn't bother her what you call her thought she doesn't allow you to call her winter wishes either way. ask her why, not me.
age; wish is currently 2 years old, born on christmas morning. she was quite a surprise for her previous owner.
blood line; wish is a pure finch, no other bird lays in her blood. her parents were both the same colours as her, so it wasn't much of a surprise to the elder lady when she wriggled her cream feathers.
favourite food; her favourite food, if it isn't obvious, then it's sunflower seeds. rather obvious for a bird of any type.
favourite toy; wish always has a tiny bell toy by her claws. it cheers her up and brings her into the mood of singing. she's also named it belle .-.
fears; wish has gotten a lot of fears from her previous life. first of all, elderly people. it's a shock, but it's true. everytime she met one they would try to catch her and breed her. then there's cages. she hate's cages, that's why she's usually out of her cage and travelling around the house, but when she's explored every corner or her claws just tire then there's always her bell to play with or to eat her favourite foods. she'll sleep on the little stand on the table when she's sleepy, but that's not about fears, is it? wish never fly's because of her fear of heights, but it is all understood when you hear the bit about her.that's all her fears, for now. but there is always predators, especially snakes, but that's rather obvious.
a bit about her;
wish is ever so adventurous, and she'll get out of her cage any time possible. she has a bell she has named belle, being pathetic enough to have named it. she's bubbly when you get to know her, but shy at first speech. she's beautiful at first glance, atleast when she's clean. being adventurous and tomboyish leads to getting by far really dirty. she hates cleaning, so you'll never see her plucking dry mud out of her feathers. after being born in a tight space with an elderly lady breeding all types of birds around her, wish has grown a fear of tight spaces. cages are her worst fear. surpisingly, being a bird she's also scared of heights, as when she still belonged to this lady everytime she flew up she would either be caught and trapped, alongside being injured in the leg by a tight leash to stop her from flying away, but also banging her head which sometimes made her go unconscious.
