known as one of Tokay's ｓｅｒｖａｎｔｓ.
Alavi is Ｍｕｓｌｉｍ for Ｈｅａｖｅｎｌｙ/
Ｄｉｖｉｎｅ, and Barra is Ｇａｅｌｉｃ for
Ｓｐｅａｒ. His name means Heavenly/
Divine Spear, which makes sense. As he
was born into a servant ways, his job has
always been to protect and serve the divine,
just as Tokay.
♟ Despite his girly colors, and love for cleaning,
string, and jewelry, Alavi is very much a Ｍａｌｅ.
While it's very easy to Ｃｏｎｆｕｓｅ, he won't
correct you until it's basically too late and
imprinted in your head that he is a 'she'. His name,
Alavi, also doesn't really help his Ｍａｓｃｕｌｉ-
ｎｉｔｙ, just as his blushing doesn't as well.
Even so, male or femaleＰｒｏｎｏｕｎｓ, he's a
male to Ｎｏ ｅｎｄ.
♟ On one of Alavi's rare free days off, he decided to
venture out of Atlantis on a search for fresh urchins.
It was rare to find a Mako that could get past the
spines of an urchin to get the flesh inside, but...
Alavi did take after his master in some ways.
Searching during high tide always seemed to be the
most fruitful for urchin hunting. Wandering around
the area where the tide pools bloomed, he saw what
he thought to be an urchin hovering in the water,
between surface and rocks. He leapt at it and bit into
his, his mouth tough enough to brave the usual spikes.
But... These spikes were sharp. He bit down into a
ｓｏｆｔ ｊｕｉｃｙ core, past the tough skin. Surfacing,
he took another bite out of it and ripped the top half of
the skin off. Under was a pale flesh, which he bit into.
The Ｓｔｉｃｋｙ, ｓｗｅｅｔ, ｓｙｒｕｐｙ juice burst
between his teeth. From that one taste, his new favourite
food was the Ｒａｍｂｕｔａｎ, an Ｕｒｃｈｉｎ-ｌｉｋｅ

Loyal to No End*
Watching with light turquoise eyes, the pup observed his father and the King. Hovering around the corner shyly, the young servant calculated his fathers job, actions, facial expressions. This was how he learned. As a young pup, Alavi had always watched his parents go about their duties servicing the King and Queen of Atlantis. He knew that he'd be servant to the Prince of Atlantis, Tokay. He'd never met the Prince though, he was forced to learn to be a good servant and protector. Skipping ahead a couple years, to the assigning of the servants, Alavi finally got to see his trustee, to meet him. The second he saw the prince's bright colors, he swore he'd be the best protector in the kingdom. He'd never let anyone or anything hurt his beloved Prince. Even so... He'd never really talked to Tokay. Alavi was simply... There. There to serve and protect. He was almost always hovering somewhere around Prince Tokay, copying his father and mother to the T. And that.. Is how it remains today.
Alavi rushed down the corridor, panting. He couldn't be late, not again. Yanking on the last of his overwear, he burst into the Prince room, bowing quickly. "I'm here, my Lord." He wheezed, blushing deeply. He could feel his beloved's eyes on him. Yes, he was indeed in love with the Prince of Atlantis, but it would be forever unrequited, as romance wasn't allowed between some one as low as him and someone as high as Tokay. Lifting his head, he shooed out his thoughts and pulled the blush back as much as he could. He caught Tokay's eyes momentarily, glancing away with mild embarrassment. Listening to the sharp orders, he return to his upright position and smiled. "As you wish, my Lord. I'll follow your orders to the last letter." He reassured and turned away, heading for the doors. Behind him, the Prince called out. "Alavi." The servant turned. "Wish your father the best health for me." Tokay smiled on of his genuine rare smiles that set butterflies on fire in Alavi's stomach. "Yes sir, thank you. He'll be pleased." With that... Alavi left. Closing the doors, he teared up and sank to the ground. His father was very sick, and only getting worse. His illness was unknown, and it scared Alavi and his mother. They hated deal with sickness, especially the elders. Younger servants were easier to replace, but with Alavi, the King and his father were basically best friends after his fathers years of service. Alavi's father's death would be hard on really everyone in the castle. Pushing that out of his mind, Alavi stood up and started on his way to finish preparing the meals, clothes, duties, lesson, and visits for his Prince for the day. He'd make up for his father's sickness as well. He took double shifts, caring for the King and Prince easily.
Even if Alavi Barra and Prince Tokay never got close enough to be the best of friends like their fathers were... Alavi would remain loyal to the day he died. And he could only hope that his children will do the same for their Princes/Princesses.

Accessory Meanings
Strings:
Tokay gave these to him at his ceremony. They were the Prince's way of saying 'You're bound to me till the day I die'. They're a source of happiness and comfort for the young protector. He plans on giving them to his own children when he grows up. Or even his mate. They're very important and he makes sure to keep them from fraying so they'll last long into his family's future.
Piercings:
They're in honor of his serving rank. He's a level three servant. Means a lot to him in many many ways. Shows how high his reassurance and trust levels are. Level five is the highest, but due to his low age, he has only managed three. His parents are tier five servants/trustees. For his age, Alavi is at a pretty high level. Highest to get at his age is fourth tier, but that is very very very rare to get. Second is more common, third is uncommon/rare. The turquoise stone made to use them also show just who he's guarding. The Prince is Turquoise, Princesses are topaz, Queens are silver and kings are gold.
Hair Pins**:
A social sign in his family. Shows who they guard and it's also very respectable to hair their hair back when they're on duty. Alavi just wears his all the time, two at least. He has many more, of the same turquoise stone as his piercings but he only wears them while in proper wear and in front of the King. Around Tokay, he's a great more relaxed and only wears two or three. His sign of Trust in his Charge.
