my username is sea, i haven't even been here for one month yet and already my username has been changed several times. i was first lark's song, due to my love of these birds before i changed to maxie. [ which is the name of my german shepherd ], ducky, and finally i have changed it to my current one. i like the name sea, and i think i might keep it at least for a while yet, honestly, i really need to find one i can stick to. maybe turtle, or raven in the future?

she gave a ghostly chuckle and shook her head in delight as someone else strayed upon her, asking for her name. ''huh! i suppose due to my brightly coloured pelt would lead to a light name such as isabella or maybe something just plain silly like lolly. but no, this gal's parents saw their chick had a baaad side.'' her face changed for a moment into something that could only be described as a touch of sadness before that mocking smirk was back, effecting covering up her emotions once again. ''my name is corby, meaning as dark as a raven due to my black heart, at least that's what they told me. i do sometimes blame them for my actions today, i think that if they hadn't given me such a cruel name i would be ... who i am today, lets just leave it at that.'' corby shrugged, a slight pause before smirking again after her first name was explained. ''i do not have a middle name, my mother and father didn't bother to give me one and i do not remember my last name. i do slightly regret this at times but some things can't be changed.''

her eyes opened with outrage at such a question and before you know it, you have a paw hitting your face in a well-practiced slap. you glance at her again, seeing the anger and shrink away in fear at the side of such fury. ''i am a girl, chick, female, fae, whatever name you can come up for it thank you very much,'' she grunted. some would've had thought that her voice might have contained some of those deadly fumes but instead she's taken a turn to something worse, coldness and you know you've made a big mistake. ''this body would look pretty damn stupid as a guy, wouldn't you agree? hah! and i'm not exactly the pro wrestling champion with massive guns so i wouldn't even consider this skinny little build to look like a male.'' her rant came to an end so she sat back, glaring icily at you with dagger-like eyes. if looks could kill.

''oh, now, why that is an interesting question indeed,'' she said, it was easy to the sarcastic tone in her voice. corby waited for your reply for a brief moment before she frowned thoughtfully, considering her options. however, the answer came to her fairly soon and her jaws gaped open to reply. ''black, my favourite colour would have to be black,'' she announced in a very certain voice. ''yes. black is the colour of the night, of the shadows, of the darkness ... i cannot go out in public during the daytime [ i'm not a vampie, you don't need to worry about that ] so i must go out in the night where the shadows will hide my brightly coloured fur. it's where i belong, and therefore that concludes my reason why it is my favourite colour.'' the look in her eyes in torn, clearing there is something else she feels the need to say yet is unwilling to say it. finally it comes out in a garbled rush, the words so quick you almost can't understand them. ''and i suppose that black is the colour of my heart like many have said before me.''
