WHAT IS A MAKOATL?

A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered off the coast of the greenland sea. They have the powerful tail and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon. They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat. They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they are very protective and mothering to their offspring, as well as to each other the majority of the time.

WHY THAT NAME?: The name just seems to fit the overall vibe for the Mako OvO, I believe it fits with a aventurous type of fellow who explores the baron lands of the planet and if anyone was to remember his name it would fit for a great legend *v*
Caspian is also one of my favourite names for a male character I just never could find something to fit the title but this aloring boy seems to fit the bill to me. The design overall is gorgeous and whoever wins this mako will be very lucky. I believe which ever name chosen whether it be mine or someone elses will do well for this mako.

I chose Rescisco because I personally love that name.
It means 'explore' and find out in Latin, and I think that suits this handsome little boy! It just reminds me of, well, adventures.

§ Well rumors have spread about his name... *leans close* it's said that his mother was one of them women who "traveled" around to different mates. And his dear old dad was one of them drunks who took everything as a joke. So when his mum claimed that he was the son of the drunk he claimed if he was to name him rum. That same night she had birth to rum and his dead sister rosa; she died that night. And the next morning when she came to claim his name rum the ye old dad had taken of with some other broad who claimed to be a goddes of the sea. Some drunks can't control their lust for the ye old sea. It's said he drowned in the same ye boat those two stole to escape. Some say now rum searches the sea's for his dead fathers corpses...

Faer is an old english word for traveller - i think this name suits the Makoatl due to the fact he is covered in map marks and reminds me of pirates, which were essentially travellers
