Tooanna
Female
The barn. Tooanna just loves the smaell of the horses and quiet snorting of the contented horses. She also loves to run in the fields with them and help us humans bring them in at night. She is so talented, she can lead a horse into it's stall if you give her the lead rope! Anyway, she sleeps in the barn everynight and gurds the horses. Every morning she wakes up and starts barking softly to wake the other animals. She then trots to farm-house and barks louder, waking the humans. After that, she goes back to the barn and open the feed room door. She waits just outside the barn for humans. When all the horses are fed, she helps take the horses to the padocts and runs with them. Yes, the barn is defenatly her favorite place!!

Dear Diary,
Dear Diary,
- It was chilly that morning, not the kind of chilly that makes you want to stay curled up sleeping, but the kind that makes you want to go and run. Just chilly enough to keep you from getting hot and make you all friskey! I love that weather!! Anyway, it was chilly and I was running through a feild when I suddenly heard a strange noise...It made me stop in my tracks, but not for long. I could tell that whatever it was, it was in destress and I had to help!! I started trotting toward the sound but slowed as I got closer so as not to scare the creature. As I crested a hill, I saw it. I'd never seen anything more beautiful!! In the distance, a whole bunch of tall, four-legged creatures with long necks and flowing tails. Then I heard the sound again, but it was coming from much closer than the group of wonderous beings. It was right below me, on the side of the hill. I slowly looked down and saw a minature version of the four-legged wonders iin the distance. It was stuck under a fallen tree but didn't appear to be injured, only scared. I slowly aproched it, humming quietly. It tried to run but couldn't, so it called out with a high-pitched "neiiiiiighhhh!!!". I stopped and let it get used to seeing and smelling me, then stared to walk forward again. This time, it was more relaxed, and let me come up to it. I looked at the tree, it was too big for me to lift. "Hmmmm..." I thought, "What if I dug at the ground under the baby? The tree should stay level as it's pretty long, and touches the ground on either sid of the baby. Well, it couldn't hurt." I started digging, gently at first, then harder and faster. I had to stop at few times to catch my breath and let the creature adjust in the hole. Soon, there was a huge pile of dirt and grass beside the fallen tree. I nuzzled the baby's forehead, then slowly backed out of the hole. It looked at me longingly, as if it thought it was still stuck. When stepped out of the hole and it could no longer see me, it made that noise again and I could hear it struggling. After a few seconds, I stepped closer so that it could see me again. It was standing! I stepped back again, and I heard it trying to follow. I could see it's ears now, then the head and neck, and after a few more steps it was at the top of the hole. It made it!! It walked akwardly toward me, and stretched out it's head. I let it nuzzle me, then turned to walk toward the bigger creatures in the distance. But it turned the other way and made a soft sound from it's throught. I followed it and soon we could see big blocks of white, red and brown standing in the dirt. I'd never seen these before and they looked scary Suddenly, the role were reversed. The little creature was now making me feel safe, and coaxing me along. But once we were a few feet away from one of the blocks, a two-legged thing came out and I froze. Every instinct in my body told me to run but I couldn'd move. The small four-legged creature trotted up to the two-legged one. After greeting eachother with strange noises, the two-lgged thing came toward me. I was scared at first, but there was something about it that was kind. It acted just I did when I was aproching the creature stuck under the tree...
Now I live happily with the two-legged and four-legged creatures, having great adventures every day!!
