Cleopatra is the name of the beautiful Egyptian pharaoh who was believed to be a reincarnation of the goddess Isis; patroness of nature and magic, also depicted as a very caring and beautiful woman. I chose it because I see this Kiamara as that.

And Asteria means 'of the stars'.

"Will I ever see you again?" the small girl said to the moon as she sat up, watching the moon disappear over the horizon.
It didn't answer.
She grew scared.
The moon was the only one she talked to.
Her only companion ever since 'they' raided her village and forced her into a mad search for diamonds. Her hands were torn up from sifting through rocks in lakes, in search of tiny shiny rocks that meant more than her life to the sick villains forcing her to do so. She'd never asked for this. The home she held so close to her burned along with many loved ones. But there was still beauty and hope out there, all of which she saw written in the stars.
She dreamed about the moon.
She drew pictures of it in the dirt.
She'd wait for it.
Cleo had grown old of this. She had to meet the moon, and thank it, herself.
So she ran.
She escaped the torture she was held in and ran.
Many soon noticed her absence and sent out numerous troops to chase her.
Cleo had skipped her way toward the moon, unaware of the bloodthirsty army chasing her.
They soon called it quits, certain that she would've died on the journey. The camp was more than hundreds of miles from civilization.
(Most, of which, destroyed.)
Little did they know Cleopatra had a mission to meet the moon.

She never met it, but did meet other Kias, who were nice enough to give her a place to rest after such a long journey. People were amazed by the brave girl. They also noticed her absence of feathers, as most Kias had.
But she deserved more.
So they granted her charms.
In the shapes of the moon and stars.
