Hello! My name is Pikachu von Schweetz, and I'm applying for this beautiful jewlie.
Like I said, her name is Clockworks. She gets her name from the gears on her body, she thinks. Sometimes people call her Clocks, but never Works. She says, "I NEVER Work, thank you very much!" But she actually does work, someone has to pay the bills!
She is the older sister of Rin, and she lets Rin know it ALL the time. Rin is three, and Clockworks is five.
Her jewel is red, and she can create fire. Sometimes she uses it to spark gears to life if they are not responding to steam, and she uses it to defend herself, of course! Some think Clocks doesn't like cold, but she doesn't mind it. She actually loves winter, but doesn't like when it freezes the gears in her house.!
When Rin came home with the laces on her tail, Clockworks, on the spot, turned white in the face and almost fainted. When Rin tried to tell her what happened, Clockworks covered her ears for half the story. Did I mention Clocks HATES scary things? She's so totally opposite of Rin XD After fussing over Rin for a long while, she finally asked Rin if she wanted to remove the laces. When Rin said no, Clockworks, again, almost fainted. Poor Clocks still gets a little woozy thinking about them! Clockworks wonders, sometimes, whether Rin really wants the laces. Rin does, of course, but Clocks doesn't know that. She kinda blocked the idea from her head.

"Tick, tock, tick, tock." The gears on the clock spinned as the brown jewel stared at her ceiling. A year she had been kept in here. Little food, a small amount of water each day. She wondered when she would get out. The jewels that had taken her from her home had left her in this plain room had not come back for a couple of days or so. She didn't really know. All she knew was the ticking of the clockworks. Her stomach growled angrily, and she grimaced, putting a paw to her belly. She put her other paw down to the dish on the floor beside her. Empty, of course. Closing her eyes slowly and sighing, the jewel began to think of freedom. Clack. The huge steel door to her room opened. A JMD with a blue jewel entered the room.
"Hello, 38." he said. "How are we doing today?" the brown jewel sighed again and turned over. She had tried burning them with her fire. She really had. After burning one of cabinets in the room and starting a small fire, she blue jeweled dragon had put out her flames. Now, no one came into her room without being accompanied by the blue jewel.
"38." said the blue jewel, slowly. "38, I'm talking to you." Slowly opening her eyes, she snapped back into focus. That's who she was, just subject 38. There had been 37 before her, but she was 38.
"What?" she snapped, glaring at the blue jewel standing above her.
"Food, is what!" said Blue, a little too cheerfully. "I hope you're hungry!" she heard the dull thud of meat against metal as Blue dropped a rabbit into her dish. "And after you eat, I was thinking we'd take you out of the room for a little while." 38's eyes widened. Food! She was famished. Devouring the rabbit in a few messy, savage gulps, she turned again to glare at Blue. But something wasn't right. Something tasted sharp. Medicinal. Narrowing her eyes at the blue jewel, she began to speak.
"What was... was in that...." And then the world faded to black.
"We need to do that now. It'll never get done if we don't perform it now! 38's eyes snapped open. Whiteness. Nothing but a cold white.
"She's awake." said an all too familiar voice. Blue's eyes peered down at her. "Quickly now. Hand me the formula." 38 tried to scream for help. Jewels were all around her, Too many eyes staring down at her face.
"No!" she shouted, but it came out as a shriveled whimper. Blue put his paw on her shoulder, where his claws dug in painfully.
"Just relax. It'll all be over soon...."
In the background, she heard the clockworks, ticking away, never stopping. One monotonous beat. Tick, tock, tick, tock. Surrounded in darkness, somewhere small. She wasn't 38. She was the clockworks. The clockworks were her.

Clockworks! Hey. Wake up. What are you doing, trying to sleep me to death?
Clockworks sat up with a jolt. A breeze from her window filtered in and mussed her fur.
"SIS!" a voice shouted in her ear. It was just Rin.
"Rin...." she muttered. "I'm up, gosh. Go... go annoy yourself or something." she rubbed her shoulder. That nightmare again. Her past came back to haunt her, even in the future.
"Okay, fine." muttered Rin. "Why don't you be even blunter, Clocks?" sighing and smiling at her little sister a little, she mussed the fur on Rin's head.
"Sorry, Rin. I'm just tired." Getting out of bed, Clockworks and Rin went downstairs to the kitchen, where Rin sat at the table.
"Hey, Clocks. Why do you always rub your shoulder?" Clockwork's fur stood on end.
"Sheeeesh, Rin. Why ya gotta be so interested in my shoulder? Is it that good looking?" she said, forcing a smile onto her face and abruptly ending the topic. "What do you want to eat? We don't really have anything much." Clockworks frowned and looked into all the cupboards. She reached into the highest shelf in the kitchen. "Oh, I think I found a box of crackers or some... thing?" Clocks sniffed, and immediately withdrew her paws. The substance in the box was what they put on the rabbit, from her childhood.
"What's the deal, Clocks?" asked Rin.
"N-nothing." stammered Clockworks. "We're going to hunt for breakfast today!" she grabbed Rin's paw and nudged her outside, gulping in the fresh air. She was relieved to get away from the smell of the sleep drug, but she wondered, how could it have been in her home?
"Clocks, I want to know what's happening. You're acting weird. Laughing nervously, Clockworks began to pace.
"So blunt, Rin." she said. "Okay, y'know what? Let's just go inside. I'll tell you a little bit about what's going on." Storming back inside, Clockworks reached for the sleep drug, while Rin came crashing in behind her, knocking down a vase. Clockworks showed the box to Rin. "See this? This is what's wrong, Rin. Y'okay know? Y'know what's wrong now?" sighed Clocks. Turning her head, she noticed the smashed vase. "Rin! So clumsy!" she said. "Mind holding this?" shoving the box at Rin, Clockworks began to walk towards the broom closet when she heard a 'pomph!'
"Oops. Sorry." said Rin. "I dropped the box."
"You WHAT?" exclaimed Clockworks. "Get out of the house, Rin! Quick!" Pushing Rin out the door, Clocks coughed as the powder in the box filled the air. A sharp jolt of pain ran through her leg, and she realized she had stepped on the glass from the vase. It seemed like eternity until the reached the door with Rin, bursting through the door to the clean air outside. The world swayed, and five Rins filled Clock's vision. Rin's voice sounded far away. "Clocks...?"
She woke up five hours later, according to Rin, in a private airplane. Rin informed her that they were moving away, to London, she said.
"To London..." murmured Clockworks. "Okay." she said, too tired to make sense of much.
Rin and Clockworks have been living in London ever since.
Clockworks has had no reported incidences of encounters with her past since then.

Rin and Clockworks get along surprisingly well for sisters! They have their rows like any other family members, but still. The only thing that is a constant bother for them is how much Clockwork's teases Rin about the age difference! Plus they are complete opposites, Rin being awkward and eccentric, and Clockworks being flirty and vain. Also, sometimes Clockworks will set fire to some of Rin's things on accident, and that'll start a huge fight. But they still love eachother, Clockworks will always be there for Rin, no matter what, and same the other way around.

Quirks? Dang, Clockworks has a LOT of quirks.
1. Clockworks steals the gears out of Rin's inventions. It really makes Rin upset, and Clockworks hides them all over the house!
2. She flirts with about every male jewel (besides ones with blue jewels, see history above) her age that she comes across.
3. She is afraid of blue jeweled JMDs.
4. She bites her claws like crazy! But ONLY when she's alone. She's embarrassed...
5. She shreds paper when she's upset. Just rips it to bits with her claws! It makes a mess. Sometimes Rin will find paper scraps in her lab. It upsets her greatly.

Clockworks is a flirty, refined jewel. She is vain, and thinks highly of herself, and boy, does she let people know it. She wears lots of eyeshadow and, in Clockwork's words, "Accessories are necessities!" Basically, lot's of accessories. But just because she's vain doesn't mean she doesn't know how to have fun. She loves thrilling activities, like hang-gliding, and she adores flying. Of course, she tries to get Rin to go with her, too. At times, Clocks can be really happy, picking Rin up and twirling her around the room. These little outbursts of her are quite common... usually when she gets a new boyfriend! :3 Haha. Anyways, Clockworks is also quite insensitive. She could flat out insult someone and not give a hoot, usually on their fashion/accessories of choice. Expect to have her on your back if you don't have any accessories! She gives Rin a very hard time about it. Surprisingly, Clocks has managed to have a normal life since the 'incidents' that happened, with the cracker box, and stuff. She hardly thinks about it now adays, but it does affect her personality a bit. She shells up if you ask her about it. And don't even mention cracker boxes unless you want a fist in your stomach! She's quite sensitive about it, if you bring it up. She can be funny, at times. Usually when Rin is in a bad mood, it only takes a few jokes for clockworks to cheer her up. Clockworks has a bit of an attitude problem. She's feisty. If you diss her, she will burn you... Literally. With her fire?? Forget it, I can't be funny.

Clockworks lives in London. She and her sister Rin both live in the same house. Picture a modest brick two story home, adorned with chimneys to steam out Rin's inventions. Clockworks works at a small bakery, and she loves her job.
Helllo, Clockworks! Can you tell us your opinion on cracker boxes?
"... Go shove an apple up your nose."
Ooookay then, how about your sister, Rin? Do you like her?
"Of course! I love Rin, although she can get on my nerves sometimes, she's just being a little sister. She's my best friend."
Glad to hear that you love Rin, Clockworks. What are your favorite songs?
"Hm. That's difficult. I like a lot of Katy Perry songs, but I'm quite partial to J-Pop, like Vocaloid. Ooh! And Carrie Pamyu Pamyu's song, Pon Pon Pon!"
I like those artists too! Heheh! Who do you have a crush on?
"It changes, whatever male jewel I see next... unless of course, they have a blue jewel..."
Ouch, I remember you told me what happend with the blue jewel JMD. I wanna talk about a lighter topic, then! Where is your favorite place in the world?
"Oh jewels... that's difficult to pick just one. I love Okinawa, though! Lots of cute jewels there, heheh, of course. Although, the humid weather is awful for my fur! So yes, Okinawa. I recommend seeing the beautiful beaches! Oh, they certainly are glorious! Almost as pretty as moi!"
Alright, one last question and you can go. Do you have any pets?
"Of course, I have two. A small, steam powered dog that Rin made for me, and a steam powered... er... well, I dunno. He looks like a little ball with eyes. Huh. The dog is Click, that... little thing she made, I dunno, I don't call 'im anythin'. He responds to, 'HEY!' or, 'GET OVER HERE!' pretty well!"
This story will be told by Rin.
"Back when we first moved to London, Rin had told me about the Queen's Palace. After seeing pictures, I decided I wanted to go there, see inside. Well... we went. And of course, like always... chaos ensued.
When entering the queens palace, we were stopped! Can you believe it? We were stopped! How dare they? I guess I made a bad impression on them, or something, because later, inside the palace, they kinda were mean to us! But that comes later. I tried to like, flirt my way out, but those creeps kept saying we couldn't go inside without a 'reservation.' A reservation! So I scratched one of 'em. That caused a huge disturbance. Anyways, after explaining to a stuffy old copper about the situation, we were let inside the palace, and boy, was it grand! There were marble floors, art hanging from the walls, and golly, was it divine! Of course, I wanted to walk around the halls, it's no joke, the place was huge! WIP
