Name:Raptor
Raptor wrote:Yes, I know, I know, my name is more awesome than yours.
Gender:Male
Raptor wrote:I am male, how could you not tell? Surely my absolute handsomeness would've told you that.
Age:21
Raptor wrote:That's my age all right. I don't really need to say anything else for that, right?
Birthday:June 23rd
Raptor wrote:My birthday is in the summer, a great time to wear some shades. And if you're thinking of throwing me a party, don't make it a pool party.
Accessories:He has a black fedora with a yellow strip.
(Sorry for my fail of a fedora)Occasionly he also wears sunglasses.
Raptor wrote:My accessories make me even more awesome. You should also get a fedora, it would make you awesome too.
Habits and Quirks:Whenever Raptor wants to look cool, he slides his paw around the rim of his fedora.
Raptor cares more about appearances than what's on the inside. Someone may have done something terrible, but as long as they have some awesome accessories Raptor's okay with them
(especially if they are wearing a fedora).
Raptor flicks his left ear whenever he is annoyed.
Raptor is never seen with out his fedora on, even when he's sleeping.
Raptor tends to interrupt others if he believes he has something better to say.
Raptor wrote:Why would these also be called quirks? There's nothing quirky about them!
Fear:Rator fears water, well water that's deep enough for him to drown in. Raptor doesn't know how to swim, so he tries to stay away from big pools of water out of fear.
Raptor wrote:Water is dangerous, okay?
Crush:Just about every girl that walks by him.
Raptor wrote:That's right pretty ladies, you all have a chance of being with me.
Story:"Why hello there, gorgeous. Oh no! You seem terribly injured! That must have been some fall... straight down from heaven." Raptor happened to actually be on his way to a small poker game when a female jewel maned dragon happened to walk by. Raptor didn't play poker too often, but on the other hand he definitely flirted
all of the time. The girl seemed unimpressed with Raptor's cheesy pick up line and walked on minding her own business.
"Well fine then, someone obviously doesn't know when the perfect guy for her has came up", Raptor angrily said to himself. He wasn't really too mad about it and says that same thing every time he gets rejected. Raptor started to walk to the poker game once again. There was a mention of a great poker player that was going to be there along with a few other jeweled mane dragons too. The main reason he was going was to meet this "great" poker player and also slightly because he had nothing better to do at the moment.
Walking into the room where the game was being held, Raptor slid his paw around the rim of his fedora to look cool in front of the others. He was a bit startled to find that he was the last to arrive.
Must have been that girl slowing me down on the way here, Raptor thought.
"Well, now that you're here why don't you take your seat" one of the other players suggested. Raptor took his seat and scanned the other players and wondered which one might be the one that he had heard all of the rumors about. There was one black and white jewel maned dragon that stuck out who also had a fedora and also had a tie and to make him stick out more his name was Pokerchip.
Let's see what this guy's got, Raptor thought to himself. Pokerchip smirked.
As the game went on, Raptor noticed something; Pokerchip was good, too good to be true! "You're cheating aren't you, Pokerchip?" Raptor accused. "Now why in the world would
I cheat? I assure you I am not cheating" Pokerchip promised while scratching his ears. Still not wanting to play an unfair game, Raptor flicked his left ear and decided to wait a little bit before really deciding if Pokerchip was cheating or not. No matter how much Raptor seemed bad, he still likes things to be fair or with better odds for himself.
The game ended with Raptor unsure if Pokerchip was cheating the whole time or not. Of course, the winner was Pokerchip. As the rest of the jewel maned dragons left, Raptor confronted Pokerchip. "I still believe you were cheating" Raptor accused once again. "Then you believed right", Pokerchip admitted, "You still need to learn how to play a game of poker."
"I know how to play poker just fine, I think it's you who needs to brush up on the rules a bit. If you had played fair, I know I would've beaten you fair and square." Raptor exclaimed. "I would like to see you try some day" Pokerchip laughed, collected his winnings, then left the room.
No matter how much he was unfair, his fedora was awesome enough to make up for it for me. Although I suppose Pokerchip and I will still only semi get along, Raptor thought.
((I have Ittam's permission to use Pokerchip in the story))
Raptor wrote:That's how I met Pokerchip. Did you know he works at the library? How lame!
Poem:The gray that brings light
The dragon of no night
Surely he should be nice?
He is flirtatious
But not too much audacious
His niceness depends
Raptor is still the dragon that brings light
The gray of no night
And if you're a girl
You will surely be treated nice
Raptor wrote:Wait, is this about me being nice? Either way ls3, you are horrible at poems.

Little note thingy:So, I've decided to come and see the JMD adopts in its new lines. I've never really felt connected to any JMDs so I've never really tried for any. When I saw him, I actually instantly felt a connection with him and decided that he would be a good way to start coming into the JMD community. I do promise to not neglect him and to be active with him.
Raptor wrote:You feel that way because I am awesome and handsome. How could anyone not be in love with me? Also, if you do get me, you better not neglect me! I need lots of social interaction.
