I once accidentally used my jewel and destroyed Oku's
favourite book. He was so mad at me! It scared me,
'cause he rarely gets mad. I didn't mean to. So.. yeah.
My jewel abilities don't fit me at all. But It's cool to
look at."

"Yes, sadly, I am all though. Im always happy-go-lucky, and I
love to have fun and play around. But when Im trying to
be me...i tend to be very loud and I easily irritated
people I dont mean to irritate. I hate when anyone gets
mad at me for being boisterous or spontanious. These
things happen all the time. I mean, every action I do is
usually calculated so I dont make others mad. But
sometimes, I do, and I hate getting yelled at. It bugs
me. Im a sensitive guy, and I really have tried my
hardest to make everyone like me, but sadly that
doesnt always happen."

Quirk;;
His quirk is that he has to read books from cover to cover, literally.
He reads the titles, acknowledgements, the story, the part about
the author. He has to read all of it, or else he feels like its incomplete
and wrong.

"I know it's really weird, but it's something I've always done. And
because Ive had to, I've learned so much about the authors who
write these amazing books. But also, because of this quirk, I rarely
read unless the book looks amazing. So.. yes. Thats my weird little
quirk, but there is always a worse on out there."

Accessories;;
He has piercings, leg warmers, earrings, a scarf and cuffs.

"Yeah! I have piercings on my wings, believe it or not. All of them
are silver with black swirls. Theyre very very pretty. My earrings
match the wing piercings, but I only have one in each ear, so
simple enough. Nothing too awesome. My leg warmers are an
awesome black and cadet blue, with a little bright red heart on
one side of each of them. Theyre so cute! My scarf matches
the leg warmers. Its black and cadet blue striped, but with no
hearts. My cuffs are like shackle cuffs without the chains though.
Theyre on my back legs, and they're both silver and gold mixed
evenly. Those are my awesome accessories!"

Personality;;
Ace, dispite his rugged appearence and outer shell, is more sensitive than most. He is very understanding, but is a bit rash and not the most gentle creature.
Ace is always willing to place his bets and is very daring, especially when playing cards, which is why he changed his name to what it is now. He can never say no to a bet, even if it's the most dangerous offer ever.
He's very easily angered and when enraged is very much able to destroy anything that stands in his way, no matter what or who it may be. But after the anger he's always filled with remorse. Not that he shows it. Remorse would mean weakness, and weakness is dangerous.
Ace has a soft spot for innocent creatures, and often acts shy around something or someone he finds an interest in.
He's very generous when you get close to him, willing to give his life and limb for things that matter, especially for ones he loves.

Short Story:
It was late in the evening as Ace picked up his cards one by one, placing them in his deck, his hard eyes staring around for anything wanting to challenge him. He was overly cautious around this time of day, as it was dark, and everyone knows darkness is dangerous. Finishing cleaning his card mess, he placed them in the case attached to his hip and stood up, his purple paws shifting uncomfortably at the cold temperature of the ground. He could see his breath. It was time to go. 
Ace slowly made his way out of the dark ally with a sack in his mouth, trying to be slow so it didn't jingle too much and draw attention to him. He didn't really know where to stay for the night. He didn't have any sort of home. He was a drifter, going where he could make the best living he could, then moving on when he lost interest. Looking around, Ace's ears twitched, his eyes narrowing as he searched the darkness for any sort of safe place. Cracked and broken buildings surrounded him, and the flickering light post was no comfort whatsoever. This area made him feel strangely uneasy, like eyes were following him at every piece of darkness. He frowned and walked on, picking up his pace a bit. The bag jingled a bit in his mouth, a ringing sound that tackled his nerves. He needed to get out of here and go somewhere safer. 
Ace picked his way carefully onto a boat that was getting ready to set sail, hiding away in its depths so he wouldn't be noticed. He tied the bag carefully to his long purple tail, near his glowing black jewel, and made himself comfortable where nobody could see him. He soon felt the boat make its slow way down the murky harbor, silence all around. It slowly lulled him to sleep. 

Sounds of gunshots woke him later, his heart pounding, eyes wide in fear. Curious to see what was going on, Ace slunk to the deck of the ship, hiding behind boxes and bags of others, standing on his hind legs and watching a few men kick a seemingly zombified body off the side of the boat. Ghoul. Ghouls were all around this area. It didn't surprise him. He yawned a little and looked toward the rising sun, forgetting that the bag around his tail remained such. It made a loud jangling, much to his surprise, and he dove down, trying not to be spotted by the men still about. 
"What are you up to?" a man's voice purred in his ear. He almost jumped out of his skin, whirling to face the dragon nearly twice his size. "Wh-wha? What? Who are you?" Ace demanded softly, his fur beginning to prickle and his ears flattening. The bigger dragon only smiled, glancing at the bag of Caps attached to Ace's tail. "What a healthy haul you brought in. You might wanna keep that safe before someone snatches it up." He winked, then walked off. Ace stood dumbfounded a few moments, then shook his head and sat on the side of the boat, watching the murky water go by as the sun rose slowly above the horizon. 

"My name is Storm." The dragon told him later with a proud smile, his fluffy tail swaying. "I'm the owner of this ship. And if you're gonna come with us you're gonna protect the place like everyone else." Ace nodded with a small smile, gazing up into the indigo eyes of Storm as he continued. "Back and forth we go along this harbor. And the only reason we're still standin' is because everyone out here is brave enough to take on the responsibility of caring for it. You're part of that now, aren't you? You're gonna be part of us now, aren't you? Seein' as you have nowhere else to go." Ace nodded again, standing attentive, listening carefully. Finally, finally he had a home, and others that would watch over him, accept him. Relief washed over him like a wave as he sat on the side of the floating machine, his tail hanging over the edge, holding close the bag of Caps that he'd never let out of his sight as Storm walked away. Hearing a few shouts, he turned as Ghouls began climbing onto the ship, screaming and hissing, grabbing and biting anything they could grab. Ace rushed into action, scrambling through the rushing others to get to one. His jaws slammed into their heated, rotting flesh and he ripped an tore with his claws, doing anything he could to get rid of them, to keep everything safe. It was what he needed to do. He had a home now. A home. He had to protect it, at whatever cost. Kicking the Ghoul into the water, he turned and made sure everything was safe, everyone was safe. He saw Storm wrestling with a stronger looking feral and he rushed at it, trying to pull it off, struggling until someone pulled a gun on it and the body fell lifeless into the water, quickly being lost to the surf. 
 "Thank you," Storm smiled as he dusted himself off, sitting up. "Ace." Cheeks flamed, Ace shrugged a bit and smiled. "It..was nothing. Nothing at all."
