A Hazelnut squirrel is a fluzzy, cuddle-able squirrel! They hatch from the hazelnuts that grow on the trees of their habitat, in the many forests around the world.Their diet mainly consists of fruits, nuts and vegetables, with the occasional ladybug or flower.
They have soft downy fur, that is thin, feathery and is often easily tangled. Hazelnut Squirrels are often quite happy characters, loving, fun and sometimes extremely noisy. Their average size is that of a normal squirrel, with larger sizes sometimes reaching that of a rabbit and smaller ones only reaching mouse-size.

Piper is rather shy, but is reasonable friendly. He's good with Hazelnut Dreylings and is also very good at solving logic puzzles. He always pieces out a problem slowly before trying to solve it, which gets him through life fairly well, but when he's forced to think quickly he can get kind of flustered. Secretly, he's a wonderful dancer, but he only practices at night because he doesn't like other Hazelnut Squirrels looking at him when he does anything. He hates being the center of attention. When in a big crowd, he often gets pushed around because he's unwilling to push against the mob to keep his place. He's more of the "you approach me" than the "I'll approach you first" type. Even though he's not popular or anything, other Hazelnut Squirrels know that he's good to turn to for comfort and help in hard times, because he's steady, comforting, and always willing to share what he has. He doesn't show any interest in romance, and anyways would probably be too shy to approach his crush </3 The hazelnut he was born from dropped from a tree in Canada (assuming hazelnuts grow in Canada XP)
