Although smaller gems seem to be less saturated with color, all Zultanite is pleiochroic, meaning different colors are visible by viewing the gemstone from different directions. These colors can vary from green to gold to pink. The phenomenal Zultanite: In addition to the different colors seen through dispersion and pleochroism, Zultanite is a color change gemstone. In daylight, the gem is a beautiful kiwi to lime green. When moving to low inside or candlelight, Zultanite will slowly change from champagne to cinnamon, peach and sometimes a cherry pink. These colors can usually be observed using 6500K fluorescent for the daylight and very low wattage 25W incandescent clear bulbs or decorative tube lighting for candlelight.

Majesty loves the various colors present in the precious stone, and enjoys taking it into every possible type of lighting, examining closely the color that resulted from each area. I made him a small necklace with this stone set in it, and he wears it everyday, simply mesmerized by it's beauty. He loves the stone for many reasons, one being it's gorgeous colors that are flattering in every light, and another the sharp, clean edges of every surface. He takes very good care of the gem, for he knows of it's rarity and value. Never ask him if you can hold his necklace, because seeing is the closest you will get.
