"The Story of the Poisonous Wildflower Rune"

"This beauty was found in a field of wildflowers at the base of a small mountain. At first glance it looks like a group of flowers and grass, but on closer inspection was revealed to be a poisonous species of Rune Dragon. These Runes are lovely to look at but deadly to touch. Only trained professionals should ever handle them. They are similar to serpents in that they hunt vermin and produce a poisonous bite. Their poison will kill within 2 hours if left untreated. The bite itself is very jagged and painful, and within the first hour paralyzes the victim. Seek medical attention immediately if you are ever bitten. While they should never be approached in the wild, if trained, they make great guard dragons for travelers and can be very affectionate when regularly fed. I recommend keeping anti-venom at hand if you plan on keeping one."

Fun Fact: The blue flowers on their tails will glow at night or when they are happy.

Why must Rosie hiss like a cat? She is supposed to be a dog but she makes me so confused sometimes and I think she is secretly plotting to rule the world except shes to lazy to move her but to do so...^_^;

Xochi is truly a unusual sort of dragon, not only by her distinguishable appearance. Xochi is a proud creature carrying a very sassy attitude. As far as she's concerned, all other dragons are beneath her.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I was immediately attracted to this dragon because its coloration reminded me of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent god of the Aztecs and other Mesoamerican peoples. I don't have a Rune Dragon, so I was looking for one I really liked. Then, I realized that it was not a Quetzalcoatl rune, but a deadly Wildflower Rune. Still, I was attracted to her. So I thought, "Hmm...She looks like she would be a proud, sassy girl! A loner type, too." After realizing this, immediately, I was stricken by the desire to adopt her, to the point of obsession. Why else would I stay up at one o'clock in the morning trying to fill out a form when I have to wake up early? The red flowers on her front, the glowing buds on her tail...She is inexplicably beautiful. I want her. I love her. I will use her in a lot of my artwork and maybe some stories/rps too. Also, it'll be fun creating little imaginary conversations between us <3
Where will you keep him/her:
Everywhere. My signature is always changing around to fit my needs. I usually feature artwork of my characters, so she would definitively find a place in my signature. She will, of course, also have a character thread, because she'll be too awesome to not have one. Mainly, however, she'll be featured in a whole bunch of oekaki drawings, because her design is so unique and extremely fun to draw!
Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
No. She would never stand for it. Yes, the boys naturally should be flocking over her, but unless they bring her the most beautiful glass bead ever to have come into existence, it'll stay this way.
Any Quirks:
She gives other Rune Dragons the cold-shoulder.
Though she mainly preys upon rodents and other small animals, she will do anything for sugar cubes.
Xochi is actually rather protective of flowers. If someone crushes one, she takes it as a personal insult to herself.

Personality: He is a cuddler. He loves sleeping in Kevin(my human character)'s pillow near his face. He is also a good guard. If he hears any unusual noises, he will go see what it is straight away. He gets along with all my characters except Crisacola. He hates that he can fly, and he also has a crush on Mayella. He usually thinks he's right about everything, but he can still be wonderful company.

Why do you wish to have him/her:I want him because I love his colors, and I love that he's poisonous. I don't have a rune dragon yet, either. I would honestly be so happy if I got him :)

Where will you keep him/her: In my character thread in my signature that's very organized and all the art will be on his post :)

Would you like to breed him/her in the feature: Its fine by me, but I would have to approve of who he breeds with.

Any Quirks: He loves sleeping on his back and doesn't like to eat anything unless its fruit and flowers.

Personality:
Xinia tends to be....snappy. Arrogant. Cold. Strong. Yet dangerously, heartbrakingly beautiful. Xinia is usually too self obsessed to really care about what's going on with those around her. She usually pushes others away since she holds herself so much above others. This, of course, results in her not having many friends but it does not seem to affect her; all she needs herself, and she is happy enough with that. She is obsessed with her beauty and how others think of her just based on her looks. Usually, they see her as beautiful and elegant; when they get to know her, they find out that she is just the opposite. However, some very close to her (if they can put up with her long enough to get close ^^') get a glimpse of a whole new side of her. A caring and very sweet one. She does not show it much though, because Xinia believes it will make others view her as weak or soft. She may make a good mother one day, but still a very stern, careful, and overprotective one at that. Even so, Xinia does realize to some extent what her actions and overall personality say to other Rune Dragons and even people. With some work, I believe I can help to make her a bit more understanding of others ^^
Why do you wish to have him/her:
Like I said, she is dangerously, heartbrakingly beautiful.
Where will you keep him/her:
I am making a character thread, and ones separate for Rune Dragons, Jelly Bean Dragons, etc. But until it is done, she will be proudly shown off in my sig =) Plus, she will be often sighted around the Oekaki :3
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
Maybe, if she findsa mate who can put up with and even help her ^^ I think that one day, she will make a good mother.
Any Quirks:
-Often seen "primping"; she will ruffle her feathers, chirp very high pitched 6 times, and let the flowers on her bloom larger than normal. Then things go back to normal, and she will do it again a few minutes later ^^ The flowers on her tail even give off a short burst of bright light :3
-Can hide in flowers/other vegetation and seem completely invisible, until she pops out just so people passing by can remark on her beauty :P
