this cat was also based on a suggestion in the discord from solstice roses! theyre based off an angelfish [particularly a blue marbled angelfish]

Azora’s flaw is vanity—not in the traditional sense, but in the way she fiercely protects the mohawk she’s worked so hard to perfect. Groomed to sharp, windswept peaks of dazzling blue, her fur is her pride and expression, a personal ritual of identity and power. But because it means so much to her, Azora can sometimes get... a little intense about it. If a sudden gust of canyon wind ruffles her crest? Expect a grumble. If rain threatens her careful styling? She might hesitate before a patrol. If a sparring match threatens to flatten it—well, you’ll probably hear about it before claws are even unsheathed.

Though she doesn’t style herself for attention or praise, her dedication to the look sometimes puts her at odds with the unpredictable wilds of Felidaera. She’s missed more than one opportunity because she stopped to re-fluff her mohawk or avoided a messy trail altogether. She knows it’s a bit ridiculous. She tries to laugh it off. But the truth is, when her look is disrupted, it feels like she’s disrupted. Azora is working on letting go of perfection, but for now, she still has an emergency stash of leaf-wax and grooming thorns.

Solstice has one flaw he considers major; but most guardians don't think about or even usually end up overlooking! He's considered a wonderful yet shy guardian, but deep down he's quite anxious about the fact that he can't swim. Most of the guardians around him, can dive right into the water! Splashing and throwing water all about, laughing, even hunting under water and bringing home meals for others! When with others, he never dares to step more then 6 tail lengths to the water. The other guardians try to always get him to come play in the water on a glimmering night, when the firelight bugs are about! Making the sky light up with tiny flashes, but he always stays on the shore and brushes it off. But deep inside he's very concerned they all notice, and are displeased with his choice in never joining in

Drift is a master of the unspoken grudge. He won't yell, won't argue or even raise his voice. He will lace every sentence with a sweetness so sharp it cuts. When he is hurt, you won't hear about it directly. You'd hear it in how he congratulates you for an achievement a week later, the actual 'good job, you deserve this' intercut with cutting remarks and snarky jokes. You’d feel it in the pause just before he smiles, bright and blinding.

He isn't dramatic, not in the loud, in-your-face kind of way. His drama is a side quest. He is quiet as salt water, eroding trust word by word.

In truth, Drift hates conflict and he'll run any which way to avoid it. He fears that being honest about his feelings will make him look foolish, or worse, weak. Instead of saying 'I'm angry' or 'That hurt me', he dances circles around the truth, making everyone else guess what spawned the conspicuous display. It kept him safe in theory. Aloof.

He hid his heart behind the sarcasm and called it strength.

It left his companions exhausted.

Those who love him dig through the sarcasm to find sincerity, but many don't stay long enough to try and follow the complicated dance. Friendships slip through his claws before he realises they're fragile. Arguments he never meant to start unravelling moments that matter.

Drift is starting to notice it; that's how change begins.

Melody is a resourceful, bright, strong individual with a bright future. At first, one would almost think they were perfect. And then it comes time to sing. Every time they open their moth to do so, every member of the clan has to grimace, hide, cover their ears, whatever it takes to get away from the sound akin to nails on a chalkboard. Why is this flaw so important? Well, they were born to a clan in which music is used to pass along feelings, stories, experiences and memories. It is the lore of their clan, their very heart. A deep, ingrained part of them.

Plus it is kind of in his name.

Heart heavy, he ended up leaving his clan, to wander the world on his own. After all, how could he subject anyone to his horrible sounds? But, thankfully, he was discovered by Piper. Piper who had followed the sorrowful noises, and actually sought out their owner. "Your voice is just as important as theirs," she said, after hearing his story. "Will you not share it with us?" Piper's clan, a clan of misfits from all over the world, embraced Melody's music as... unique. Just his. And as such? He came to not only accept but eventually embrace it as well.
