Welcome to the Realm of Felidaera, a continent hiding between reality and imagination, where flying cats rule as the dominant intelligent species. They've organized themselves into large nations they refer to as 'tribes', composed of multiple clans that share a piece of the continent. Sometimes there is strife - but there is nothing greater than a common enemy that can bring cats of all kinds together.
☾ Tribe of the Moon Mountains
(bat winged cats, cling to cliffs and reside in caverns)
Nocturnal hunters deemed uncanny for their featherless wings. Without the ability to sheathe their claws, this tribe is often misinterpreted as an aggressive bunch attempting to fear monger the other tribes.
☀ Tribe of Sunrise Sea
(feathered cats, smooth-winged like seabirds, reside on an island gorge off the mainland)
Unbothered and relatively peaceful, the sea provides a nearly-perfected utopia for fish-loving cats. With their home separated from the mainland, this tribe decidedly steers clear from conflict - though their lethal diving techniques aren’t only for catching fish off-guard.
✦ Tribe of the Fallen Star Forest
(feathered cats, reside in a bright and dense forest where their colors pop best)
The loudest of the tribes, known most for their songs. In the forest, this tribe faces the largest and most dangerous threats, and yet they are proud to create lyrical tales of their grand battles (the ones they win, anyway).
✧ Tribe of the Evening Valley
(feathered cats, roaming free in the plains, and known for picking up strays/rogues)
A tribe revered for its goodwill can be seen as the weakest of all. The valley is known as the most diverse tribe; all outcasts seem to make their way here one way or another. They bend rules in favor of kindness, and thus provide quite the nonthreatening impression.
☁ Tribe of the Dusk Desert
(feathered cats with wide faces, scavengers that reside in a cacti labyrinth)
The barren wastelands nurture the strongest of guardians - in spite of a scarcity in prey, the desert tribe seems to revel in their hardships. Infighting is merely blowing off steam. Hunting in other territories is simply part of the natural order. As far as other tribes are concerned, the heat has definitely gotten to the desert cats’ heads.
❄ Tribe of the Twilight Tundra
(feathered cats, fluffier in nature to survive the cold, reside in the burrows of icy hills)
Sleepy scavengers who are scarcely ever seen by the other tribes. The cats of the ice tundra were once rumored to be the spirits of ones passed from the way the snow glitters in their fur like stars.
These tribes contain many different clans; it’s up to you to create your own and figure out what tribe they belong to!
Note: Cats unaffiliated with a tribe/clan are allowed, but if they’re a founder, they won’t be able to gain tribe affiliation benefits.

✧ Roles
- What are Roles?: Cats in the world of Guardians are usually assigned roles within the clans they reside in. Each role has a purpose, and can dictate what your cats can and can’t do within events and activities.
- Guardians; the default role for a cat, unless stated otherwise. Explore, protect, and hunt for their tribe (levels 1-5)
- chance to roll... wip
- Medics; Forage for items to help their clanmates, and make life within the tribes as comfortable as possible (levels 2-5)
- chance to roll... wip
- Cannot participate in hunts
- Speakers; cats at level 4-5 attend monthly gatherings with other tribes’ speakers to receive omens/gifts from the stars
- chance to roll... wip
- Cannot participate in hunts/battles/turf wars
- Monarchs; cat must be at the highest level (5) to receive nine lives from Highrealm and lead their clan
- can perform any of the above jobs at will
- Changing Roles: To change your cat's role once they’ve reached the required levels, you’ll be able to post a “role change” form on this thread here.
Rank Feathers:
- Tipped - level 1
- 1 stripe - level 2
- 2 stripes - level 3
- 3 stripes - level 4
- 4 stripes, glowing tip - level 5
✧ Battling System
Battles/Turf Wars- Users send up to 2 cats to a battle or war for randomized results/benefits
- The goal is to have a higher strength score than your enemy’s defense score. But if you don’t have enough medics, your guardians will go down very quickly
- Sending in Guardians increases overall strength score (determined by cat level)
- Guardians with certain types of armor can additionally increase defense score depending on material type
- Sending in Medics increases overall defense score (determined by cat level)
- Monarchs can choose to increase defense OR strength score
- Battles/Turf wars should be pretty 50/50, but that definitely won’t always be the case.
- If one tribe is revered as having stronger cats than another, staff can limit how many cats are entered into the fight (as a way of saying the leaders of the tribe got cocky or smth) to make turf battles more even
- Item Drops:
Amor
- Myos, edit items, currency, armor materials, exp points, etc
- There’s 3 main types of armor, with different levels of defence
- Leather (+1 defense)
- Bone (+2 defense)
- Steel (+3 defense)
- A cat’s traits, no matter their rarity, do not affect strength/defense scores.
- Users do not have to draw a cat’s armor on to say it has armor - you need only the item proof attached to your cat’s archive.
- Cats who have armor drawn on but do not have the armor item are absolutely allowed, but still doesn’t actually affect the cat’s defense score.
