- guardian, the most common role. the warriors that protect and hunt for their clan and tribe wear these feathers, and lose them pretty frequently too!

- medic, the role of some cats who found that they work better with herbs than as a fighter.

- speaker, a rare role granted to cats who have discovered a way to contact the Highrealm. They receive omens and sometimes have moments of foresight, and thus choose not to intervene in conflicts to avoid altering the flow of time.

- monarch, the leader of a clan who's granted 9 lives from Highrealm. They work with other monarchs within a tribe to keep the peace within shared territory, and often perform the jobs of other roles when they're bored.
