The Noble Cub had always wondered what his cubs would look like, if he ever had any. Which, since now he was expecting to be a father he was now greatly considering this question.. Would his kits be curious and artistic like their mother, covered in mud and paint at all times? Or would they be more aloof, a wanderer, a devotee like him to his great god of Change. Alas, this led to more complications the more he thought about his kits. Would they take on his blessing from the god? How did kittens of the blessed ones work.. He couldn't recall, they weren't quite common since blessed cats were normally much too busy for kits. His life would bring danger to their little paws. He couldn't help but feel heartbreak as he began to pace, looking out at the sun, pondering.

Should he abandon these kits? No, that wasn't noble, they would be so young.. and small. He couldn't help but feel attached to these unborn kits. Then, he remembered what his god would say, whenever he faced a hard decision such as this one.

"Go with your heart, don't be afraid of me, my powers, let you be the change. Let yourself feel it from within."

Those words, ones that were often sarcastic and jokey and that he never took that seriously. But now he couldn't help but feel a stirring in his chest. He'd be the change, the first blessed one to raise a litter of kittens. Now, instead of his stressed, spiraling thoughts, they came like fluffy clouds of musings on what sort of kits would appear at his den. He'd have to lay low for a while, he was quite sure Change wouldn't mind, after all, it was the god's advice which gave him the solace to take in these cubs. He hoped these cubs would be wanderers like him, but he'd change, adapt. Anything for his future, blessed cubs. No matter whether they were actually magic, they'd still be blessed in his eyes.
