The longest Ive gone without adopting an equid was for 7 months, back in 2014/15 - but, I may be going for the new record now, last equid being on 10th January and still going. For the fun number, since then I have applied for ~65 total equids without winning any! That includes all three events we had since January and all breeding openings!

Excluding the hiatus, the first time I won a WME was this latest Christmas we had, the handsome Dark Hot Coco on December 26th, 2024 <33 I have managed to acquire a few during the hiatus period from purchases, but I have only won the one wme throughout the many many years of both versions being opened<3

I won Aali at the start of Feb ‘14 then applied for all equids in between until I won Isaiah at the unwrap me event in Jan of 2015. It was such a good feeling to finally win again!

Longest span I can figure is when I won my very first equid, Horus, on Aug 24, 2013 until I won Icarus, who was created in the first batch of WME appaloosas on Feb 01, 2014. This was a total span of 161 days!

I haven’t personally won any equids, but I was gifted two by a previous owner and have had them for a very long time.

I haven't yet won a WME post-hiatus.

Adding these two time intervals up:
From August 29, 2013 until September 30, 2015: 762 days (2 years, 1 month, 1 day)
From December 12, 2024 until March 29, 2025: 107 days (3 months, 17 days)

Taken together, I've gone for 2 years, 4 months, and 18 days of applying without winning a WME.

The first WME I ever applied for was September 15th, 2013, but I never finished my entry for that one so I'm not counting it.
The first one I applied for whose form I finished (but still didn't get) was in December 18th, 2013.
I didn't win my first WME until last week XD (granted he was also my first post-hiatus application)
So that's... 4107 days (or 11 years, 2 months, 27 days including the end date)
Minus the hiatus (Nov 19, 2017 - Dec 6, 2024) 4107-2575 = 1532 days (4 years, 2 months, 10 days)
