tell me something: When crocheting, the size of the final product depends on two things: hook size, and yarn size (disregarding the obvious factor of how big the pattern itself is). A bigger hook will lead to bigger gaps (which are sometimes not really visible), leading to a bigger project. Likewise, thicker yarn will also lead to bigger projects. Choosing the right hook and yarn together is important though, since using a hook that's too big leads to big, obvious gaps, not good for plushies and dolls, and using a hook that's too small makes it really hard to work with the yarn. It can ALSO lead to obvious gaps, because the yarn doesn't get the space and tension to relax and "fluff up".

Chenille yarn is often thick and leads to larger projects, and a casual crocheter might go down as far as lace weight thread, which is just thin as a string, to get small projects. There are larger yarns of course, which are expensive(!) but lead to huge projects, and you can crochet with embroidery thread to make even smaller projects, or if you're really brave and have the right tools (or good eyesight), you can use sewing thread! It makes the final project absolutely tiny!

tell me something: I would put this kal in my space universe called the Astralis Concord. I have two more roles for my space crew to fill - the prime sentinel and the communications specialist! The communications specialist may have some talent or skill to be able to communicate with various alien races and even celestial bodies (stars, planets, etc.). The original idea was the specialist was a musician and they used their guitar to play music and create a frequency/wavelength with the song to be able to communicate with the other language!
