Current Owner funnyfarm96

Name: Ryder
Height: 14.0 hh
Gender: Stallion
Colour: Bay
Quipping: Two-tone Drip
Eye: Brown

To win this adopt I want you to write a short dialog scene where this Equid is the “hero” or “villian”. Feel free to use other equids in this activity (please link them if you do). To make things a bit more interesting though, you will have to feature a sassy or sarcastic narrator that also provides commentary on the scene. The more I laugh the better your odds ant winning. Edits are permitted until the deadline. No extras allowed. Contest ends in 48 hours on March 27th at 2:00am GMT (02:00 CS Time)

Example:
WME - “Everything will be fine” he assured the others. Stamping the small embers in the grass. A sheepishly reassuring smile on his face.
Narrator - “He was wrong, everything would not be fine.”

WME Name: Colby
Short Dialog Scene:
Colby was playing around in the mud, he and his friend, Karolina were seeing who could jump the farthest in the mud and whoever jumped the farthest got bragging rights. Now, neither of them knew the extent of how deep the mud was. Karolina went first as she backed up and did a running start and leaped into the mud getting pretty far, but as she tried to get out, she kept sinking and Colby tried coming to the rescue, he didn't think of a plan, he just went in full speed ahead… and he was almost to Karolina before remembering, he had nothing to pull her out with, well crap he thought as he to started sinking
Narrator: "and it was at this point, he knew.. he messed up"

Short Dialog Scene:
"C'mon, Remus! I promise it's not as muddy as it looks!"
It was, in fact, as muddy as it looked.
Remus, who had been sticking close to a patch of dry grass, stamped his hooves. "Really," Remus said, eyeing the pasture.
"Really!" agreed Phobos, prancing into the center of the field. When Remus still refused to move, Phobos rolled his eyes. The stallion could be such a priss about getting his oh-so-gorgeous coat dirty.
"Unless," said Phobos, scraping the mud dirt with a hoof, "you're too chicken. Unless you think I'll beat you at a race."
Remus huffed, his eyes narrowing. He wouldn’t take such an insult to his ego.
Remus picked his way over to Phobos - carefully, of course.
“Race you to the tree,” Phobos said, nodding at the huge oak.
They took off. Phobos knew Remus would win - the larger stallion always did - so he pulled up short of the tree, leaving Remus to skid into the enormous mud puddle at its base.
Phobos cackled - until Remus turned his fuming, mud-splattered face toward him.
I hope Phobos said his prayers this morning.

Dijkstra's POV

"Where are we going Jaskier?", I asked as he walked past me. Jaskier huffed and looked back at me, "Oh just for a walk". I let out an exaggerated sigh but followed. He chuckled, swinging his signature cattail in stride.
--Seems sus--
We walked around the back of the stable passing several of the other horses that called BCR home. They eyed us suspiciously, quietly murmuring amongst themselves as we walked.
--See even they think this is suspicious too!--
Finally, Jaskier stopped and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
--Same!--
He stood in front of the backdoor to the feed room, yet again in another attempt to steal grain. "You've got to be joking!", I whispered. He turned to face me with determination in his eyes and said, "I am not. This time it'll work."
--Doubt it--
I shook my head, "Absolutely not! I will not be your accomplice!" I neighed loudly, alerting anyone nearby to this attempted theft. Jaskier frowned, "Spoilsport!" he said before bopping me in the face with his cattail. It exploded and suddenly I was covered in fluff.
--Hmm is Dijkstra a hero for stopping theft or the villain in Jaskier's master plot?--

Narrator: a fierce looking stallion is approaching the herd, what could his goals here be?..
Vlad: Herd leader! I challange you to a fight! This herd shall be mine to rule!
Rumpelstiltskin: Does it have to be so pompous, colt? I get it, you are big and mean and want an own territory, like all bachelors coming through here. But you dont have to speak silly to try.
Vlad: *SNORT* Take me seriously!! You shall kneel before me!!
Narrator: oh no, a battle seems imminent! Who will prevail in this fight of good and evil? Of experience and youth? Of old ways and new beginnings? Of green and red? Of...
Vlad: Stop making those comments in my ear, you're distracting me! I need to focus on my evil conquest!!
Narrator: oh, sorry.

Short Dialog Scene:
The wind whipped wildly around a duo of stallions, pounding them with sheets of rain as the storm raged. With the convenient timing of an old action movie, lightning pierced the sky, illuminating them as they faced off against one another.

“You will go no further!” the bay stallion roared to his opponent – his cry reminiscent far more of a cornered marmot’s screeching than the mighty lion’s roar he had intended.

In their minds, this interaction represented the final, dramatic showdown for the two stallions; the cumulation of a several months-long chase and escalation of their brewing hatred. In reality, they both resembled something akin to an unsavoury bundle the cat had dragged in – sodden, muddy, and emanating a smell that must have, at some point, resembled a living creature.

His opponent's eyes flashed in response, and he bared his teeth in a manner that was meant to be intimidating, but rather made him look as though he was on the brink of sneezing; "You can't stop me."

With a squeal that would rival even the grandest of toddler tantrums, the stallions clashed atop the mountainside, determined to end their feud once and for all.

Short Dialog Scene:
Ryder's Villainous Monologue (with unhelpful narrator commentary)

The night was still. Too still. Suspiciously still. Clearly, the universe was aware that something great—nay, something legendary—was about to happen.

Inside his dimly lit stable, Ryder lay in the straw, his mind ablaze with villainous intent.....

Soon… oh, so soon… the valley shall be mine.

(Shall it, though? Because last time you tried, you got stuck in a fence. But go on.)

The humans think they have won. They believe they can contain my power with wooden walls and metal latches. Fools!

(Are they fools, or do they just understand how locks work?)

They underestimate me. They always do. But no more. I shall break free from this prison, gather my allies and we shall rise.

(Your ally is a goat……This feels like a flaw in your plan.)

I shall dictate where I go! All will tremble beneath my hooves!

(Or, you know, just beneath your hooves in general. You are very large.)

But first… I must escape. Simple enough. I have done it before.

(Hard disagree. You "escaped" last time by kicking a gate open and then immediately getting distracted by an apple. Shall we recall how that ended?)

Short Dialog Scene:
The Scene: Dionysos - self-proclaimed noble stallion and four-legged diva - stood at the edge of the pasture, staring in horror. Gwen, the wild and mud-covered mare, happily stepped out of the muck.

      Gwen:
"Come on, Dino! Mud keeps the flies away."

Dionysos: Wrinkling his nose in disgust. "Or I wait until they leave by themselves. Should happen in an hour… or a year."

      Gwen: Flicks mud at him.

Dionysos: Jumps, slips—then lands flat on his back, legs flailing "Oh fantastic! Guess I’ll just lie here, then."

Gwen: laughing. "I’ll help you, but only if you drop the prince act."

Dionysos: Whining "Why does this always have to be about you..."

Narrator: Then came the real horror - food.

Dionysos: "Grass? Weeds?! Where’s the hay? The treats? Is this some kind of social experiment?"

Gwen: Chewing happily. "Welcome to reality."

Dionysos: Staring at the endless green nightmare. "I can’t believe I’m saying this… but this -" stamping on a tuft of grass "-might actually be worse than the mud."

Congratulations! This is exactly what I had in mind when I thought sassy narrator, made me laugh! It was made even better by your solo villain explaining his dastardly yet flawed plan to no one in particular.
