I had been chasing a plump squirrel that was much more lively than it should have been when it scrambled into a large cave. I hadn't given much thought when I zipped down to follow it, only narrowly avoiding hanging rocks as I went barreling into the darkness and tackling a she-cat who'd been watching everything unfold. I apologized profusely for my rude intrusion and thankfully she was very forgiving, offering for me to stay and recover. I took her up on her offer and now I call those caves home.
