Prompt: Puddlebug absolutely adores the Council. In her eyes, they can do no wrong; every cruel word is just tough love and every slight against cats she knows is right, actually! The Council shapes Rainstep's views and beliefs in every way. She admires them, worships them. The day a Council member called Rainstepper by her title, she swooned. Puddlebug was in love with the concept of the Council, entirely adoring of everything they said and endorsing everything they did.
Although... when they were offered a position on the Council, Gemdart vehemently refused. Her truth was laid bare to the Council: the bright-eyed, soft, outgoing molly couldn't bring herself to care about other cats. She felt hollow, fake. She felt deserving, but shamefully so. Emerald Darter had no emotional connection to any cats, aside from her parasocial relationship with the cats on the Council. She only had cats that they kept around to keep up appearances -- she was better than all of them, anyways. Rainstep was special.
Officially, the Council wouldn't accept her vitriolic, scathing words when they lashed out, wouldn't accept Gemdart's short temper. But in reality? Rainstepper chose to stay as a worshipper, passionately supporting those that made her spill her very soul out to them to avoid the threat of execution.

Marbletail could tolerate a lot. A cold leaf-bare, a battle wound, even a poorly planned patrol. But what he could not stand—what made his fur bristle and his claws itch—were the senior warriors.
Not all of them, of course. Some, like Stormfang, were worthy of their titles. Warriors who still fought, still trained, still bled for the Clan. But the others? The ones who sat around camp, talking about "the good old days" as if their victories moons ago meant they didn’t have to lift a paw now? Marbletail despised them.
It was the arrogance that got to him. The way warriors like Emberclaw and Brackenstep would sneer at younger cats, dismissing them with a flick of their tails. "Back in my day, apprentices actually listened," they’d grumble. "We had real warriors then, not these soft-pawed kits playing at battle."
Yet where were they when the border skirmishes happened? Where were they when Marbletail had to drag a half-frozen apprentice back to camp in the dead of leaf-bare? Sitting in the warriors' den, warming their pelts, offering advice no one asked for.
The worst part was how no one else seemed to notice. Blizzardstar still gave them the best prey, Frostshade still consulted them on Clan decisions, and younger warriors treated them with unearned reverence. But Marbletail saw the truth—these cats were relics, too proud to admit they were past their prime, clinging to their status while others did the real work.
So Marbletail bit his tongue. He still dipped his head in respect when required. But every time a senior warrior complained about "how things used to be," he had to fight the urge to unsheathe his claws. If they wanted respect, they would have to earn it.

Prompt: Fawn Step is usually very neutral towards cats of a higher rank (and certainly respectful), often a mediator between two cats in small scrapes and disagreements, though he gets this......eerie and often heavy feeling whenever near the clan Deputy. There's just something about that cat, maybe its the hunched posture or the way they are always alone....... or perhaps its that faint, feral look in their eyes, carefully guarded, but still there if you know what you're looking for.

Whatever it is......Fawn Step makes sure he stays as far away from that cat as he can unless absolutely necessary.

The sandy-grey tom had never met any other felines like the cats of AshClan. So casual about the wretched and harsh conditions they lived in, the tom honestly couldn't help but feel a little... scared? No, perhaps that wasn't the right word-intimidated and awestruck, perhaps, was better. Their fierce leader Burningstar and her second-hand, a "deputy", they called him, followed the fluffy tortoiseshell to sweep up the aftermath of her fiery wake. Her warriors stood so strong and so proud of themselves: Socks wanted to believe that he would know what that felt like; what it felt like to be proud of the destiny you've carved with your every own paws.

Frankly, the cats of AshClan are insane. Socks has no idea how in the world he's going to keep up with the clan, who so kindly took him in after he'd been separated from his humans by the dreadful bush-fire that wiped out the neighboring Clans. Palebreath, the Clan's medicine cat holds his upmost respect. If Otterpaw weren't the proud medicine cat apprentice, the tabby might've given it an honest shot. The tom had spent the past few sunhighs observing Palebreath at work while he expertly nursed Rainchaser, the ever reckless she-cat who threw herself in harms way just to keep her clanmates safe. Even old Lynxhazem with a Christmas garland stuck around his neck, serves his StarClan given duty from the elder's den.

Socks really doesn't have the heart to tell the goofy old man that the dangerous beast he's guarding the clan from in his nest is only a laser pointer. The kits enjoy his tales and demonstrations of the Red Monster a little too much. It was the old tom's stories that helped Socks mourn the lost of his life as a kittypet. It was his purpose in life to educate the Clans on how to better live in such a humanized world. Views of two-legs so outdated, Socks years to help his clanmates seek out humans for their help without feeling so downright ashamed for it. Socks hopes to introduce Palebreath, the cat he admires the most in AshClan, to the concept of the veterinarian and real medicine.

Regardless of his destiny AshClan - where he TRULY - has always been meant to be, Socks will always be in awe of all the cats around him. They were forever remain an enigma to him, even though his fate is to become one of the best warriors that AshClan will ever see. In fact, when Summitsky takes his place as leader when Burningstar has gone to rest with the stars, it'll be little ol' Sootsock who becomes a star after Summitsky has his turn at zenith in silverpelt.

Wheatstalk has always loved his home in DappleClan. Through every trial, he has never once doubted that he was in his perfect home. However, after so many moons serving DappleClan, he has started to really envy the deputies he has seen chosen. Afterall, they have time and time again put their safety on the line for DappleClan. They wished more than anything to show their devotion to the clan by serving as its deputy. Over and over, Wheatstalk was passed over. Slowly, their feelings towards their leader started to sour. The pure love for their leader started to turn into quiet hurt, festering in their chest. Its when Wheatstalk looks at the next generation that he finds his ambition fades and he is filled with love for the kits and apprentices finding their way in DappleClan.

Sandscratch has…. Trouble, with authority figures. To say the least. At this moment, he cannot stand the pompous oaf that leads the Elite.

Butting heads, challenging them verbally (and bodily) at every turn, and it’s taken a toll. He’s knocked himself down from head warrior to bottom of the barrel for patrol choice. He spends his days ignoring their orders and lounging on the hot rocks by the sea, waiting for some car worthy of following. He doesn’t deal in cowardice.

Prompt: Stormclaw in general has a complicated relationship with authority figures, usually finding them irritating and believing that all they do is give orders and don't actually pull their weight. This at the beginning caused tension between her and Sunstar as Stormclaw was very wary of them. The pair had their arguements, mainly Stormclaw arguing and Sunstar trying their best to calm the she-cat. Over time as Stormclaw observed the leader's actions, she had grown quite fond of the young leader. She has seen Sunstar do double the work of leaders she had seen previously. Actually participating in patrols, going on hunting trips by themselves when a normal cat would be exhausted, helping build up the camp. The pairs relationship has evolved from waryness to admiration. Stormclaw would never say it out loud but she is proud to have the leader she does.
