If I get little guys there's quite a lot of places I can put them with or without Cloudstar blessing me with a chimera! I have several acolytes, rogues and one Loner in Flora Isle that need to exist and anything these two can spit out will work for that. Some of the more exciting options include Ebony the Loner who is super grumpy and just wants all these human loving cats to leave her alone but she has a soft spot for Peanut who just has this aura about him that makes his dopey optimism cute instead of grating to the polar opposite Loner. She thinks its quite silly he carries around a twoleg toy like its a kit but wouldn't hesitate to throw paws to protect him and his toy if anyone else commented on his obsession with it.

Another pair of exciting options are Pōpoki and ʻīlio the rogues! These two are best friends and depending on if Cloudstar or Pālima throw their tail edits one of these two are definitely possible! Pōpoki is the catest cat you ever did see meanwhile ʻīlio is the most doglike cat you ever did see but they both are somehow the best of friends despite being on polar opposite ends of the cat spectrum! I think it would be neat to get one of them through breeding just for the fun of it!

Another exciting option is Hala! This is Popoki Iho's Acolyte and best friend, Hala is just a cutie who wants to help Popoki Iho spread the good word of identity and being true to who you are. Hala is also really hard to write about because Hala's pronouns will be whatever color Hala is. Its a very clever pun I assure you! Hala and Popoki Iho have known each other since forever, since before Popoki Iho knew they were a deity. It's just such a cute dynamic I love these pals so much!!!

Kai walked in with his swag sunglasses and swag swagger.

"Wow," Kai said. "You are so hot." They kiss on the mouth. Kai smells like peanut butter.

"Babe were you rolling in peanut butter again," Kai asks.

"Maybe," Kai replies.

"Awesome," Kai states. "Are you ready for our golf date then?"

"Absolutely." Kai pulled his red golf club out of his cartoon pocket. Kai also pulled his red golf club out of his cartoon pocket. They had identical golf clubs (to match) (because it's cute) (definitely not because they like the same things and got each other identical golf clubs for Christmas without realizing) (that would be silly).

They each put two pairs of sunglasses on (one to look cool and one for sun protection) and hopped in their red golf cart to drive down the road to the local murder golf course. Don't worry, no one gets murdered on the golf course. Like not by other cats I mean. The golf course might murder them though which is why they signed their waivers waiving all rights to sue the company for damages to life or limb or property in their sparkly red glitter pens before they went onto the murder golf course.

What a beautiful day for a beautiful date. The murder golf course dramatically spit fire into the air to make it even more beautiful. Wow. Beautiful.

"Babe you look so majestic in this lighting," Kai says as he hits a golf ball into the distance and a shark jumps out of a pond to eat it. Rats. Um- I mean sharks.

"Thank you," Kai replies as he hits a golf ball into the distance and a swarm of rats emerges from the local sewer system to steal it for their hoard. Rats. But like actually this time.

Kai sheds a single tear at his stolen golf ball, then pulls another out of his cartoon pocket and resumes the game. "Kai do you ever think about having children."

Kai watches as this golf ball is stolen by a scary robot child. "Haha if this were a cheesy next gen fic this would be the part where you tell me that you're pregnant."

Kai stops the game and stares at Kai like the kaistare sticker. Kai stares back. They blink.

so when pico and zephyr showed up at their cave entrance with eyes so watery and shiny they looked like miniature pools (🥹), alifera was horrified. what now?

“kids. what is it?”
pico bounced in the air urgently. “dad, we found another kit just like us!! he was trapped in the snowstorm. he said his parents were gone when he woke up cold and shivering. can we left him live with us?”
the last string of words left the munchkin horrified, and he couldn’t bring himself to refuse.
however, zephyr seemed to notice he was hesitant. “dad, you took in pico from the snowstorm when i found him. why would this be any different?”
he grunted and supposed zephyr had a point.
after all, if he did turn them away, he would be no better than that kit’s own parents.

he stepped closer to the kit and starting licking him to warm him up. however, as he felt the kittens velvet soft fur, he sensed something creeping up his spine. the kit mewed and wriggled and that was when alifera noticed that he was blind in one eye. his irises were a cloudy grey and a vibrant blue, just like the colour of the ether when it was dawn.
“what’s your name, little one?”

the kit pivoted to stare into alifera’s own magenta eyes. there was a spark of something in there. alifera met the kit's mismatched gaze and saw stars. he heard melodies lost to time and space echoing in his eardrums, tasted the divine sensation of ambrosia that he never thought he would ever experience again. the ichor in his veins throbbed and he felt lightweight.

the world turned, axis rattling and shaking.
a lone shooting star fell, and everything and everyone was silent.

still, the kit said nothing. they simply stared at the barren cave walls where darkness and shadows danced, and ancient cave paintings seemed to come alive.
life thrummed and the strings of reality came undone, fabric became untethered.
alifera watched in horror as the kitten stayed eerily still. even zephyr and pico, the noisiest cats he'd ever seen were silent, watching the snowstorm outside in mute horror. the ether seemed to unravel, sky filled with technicolour rainbows. and in the middle of the raging tornado of snowflakes was a light blue eye, gazing down at them from up above.

reality shattered and was pieced back together.
alifera hissed. "the kit- it has to go."
"but father, we can't! its too dangerous. we need to let him stay. if we let him go, who knows what he might do unattended?"
pico wasn't exaggerating.

alifera swallowed and inhaled sharply.
"alright. he stays. but zephyr, i need you to keep an eye on him at all times."

"aye aye, dad."
for the first time, zephyr's green irises were filled with fear.
"never let him out of your sight."

"he could destroy worlds and even entire dimensions."

pico took a shaky step forward. "did you hear us...? what's your...name?"

they spoke in the tones of muffled whispers, the rattling of skeletons and bones, and the slow oozing of the void.

Fennel and Siobhan are an unlikely couple. Fennel was aiming to take over as the clans leader before a certain pink hued she-cat came in and ruined just about everything. It was aggravating, the way she so easily got under her skin. Every little thing annoyed her to the core, especially when she would distract her from her duties. Eventually, however, she grew to welcome such distractions.

Their relationship is very push and pull, almost reminiscent of Fennel's late parents, Tansy and Cauliflower , except there was no animosity between the two of them when Siobhan suddenly desired to become a parent.
These kittens would have a large role to play in the next act of the clans future.
After the harsh winter, and most of the clan either dying off or being away- one of the kittens would be the one to pave the way towards a brighter future- by seeking out others to join the clan from farrrr beyond the current territory.
With the other one holding down the fort and stopping a coup from forming and trying to take over the clan from the Cansy line (Cauli and Tansy) because they believe they have grown weak (After losing their most valuable medicine cat, cauliflower and hunter, Tansy) in the same winter.

Just what did he get himself into this time.. That’s the question Aether has been asking himself for the past few days, carrying a bundle of moss to the nursery he thinks back through the series of events that got him here..

Aether had simply been doing his duties, that day he was assisting a fishing patrol by the river when he spotted them, adrift in the water, floating on a piece of driftwood, a litter of kits, all alone.

He leapt into action abandoning the juicy carp he had caught and deftly gliding through the water in their direction. The water tousled his fur, undoubtedly weaving tangles that he would later meticulously pull apart into their usual smoothness. For a cat to whom appearances are deemed so important, one would assume that Aether would never act on such an impulse as to jump into the river, but when innocent lives are on the line he would never hesitate for a moment.

As he reached the kits he bit into the driftwood, dragging it toward land, where the other members of the patrol were waiting. Splashing onto the shore, Aether spared not a moment in checking up on the kits, before distributing them among the present cats to take back to camp post-haste.

Upon their return to camp the patrol was greeted by a slew of concerned cats, many shocked to see their deputy in such a state as he was in, but he cared not about the sandy matts that covered his body, placing the kits in the nursery, he curled around them briefly before being shooed off by the medicine cat, Luna, who correctly stated that his own sopping wet form was in fact not helping warm the kits.

Later that evening, Aether returned to the nursery, now free of sand and tangles, though still ever so slightly damp, he laid down near the kits, staring at them intently. Despite their unknown origin, he looked at them like they were stars, admiration and love in his gaze, simply taking it all in.

One of the queens noticed this and mentioned that the kits were lacking names, and well, since he reduced them and all, he could do the honor of naming them.

So he did, and every day, like clockwork, Aether showed up to the nursery, hanging out with the kits, his kits, teaching them all there was to know about the world, everything he did, everything he does, is for them.
