Mitts, Oliver and
Kib, are typically the primary organizers of the Middle Fair.
The Middle Fair is held at two mid-seasons in the year [spring and autumn], and- being a tradition her great, great, gREat grandfather started- the host has been passed down from parent to child since. Dottie takes this family heritage very seriously, and always starts per preparations at least a week before to ensure all goes well.
She is the overseer, as well as the primary
tester- meaning any new treats or games or suchlike, anything that needs to be trial run, is trialed by her and any selected others.
As for her job as overseer, she chooses the year's themes and goals and assigns tasks to her crew to work on!
Mitts usually takes on treats- her human family have some awareness of their cat's traditions and prepare cat-friendly goodie bags to be taken down to the festivity. As such, Mitts needs an account on attendees and their preferences- which is another job Dottie covers, as she keeps careful tabs on their typical guests likes and dislikes!
Oliver is resourceful and able to gather up what things are needed for decorations at Dottie's request. Usually local kittens will get together and aid in the decorations efforts. The decor is all a ragtag mess of things they can find, from bows to feathers to shells, whatever pleases or fascinates the eye!
Kib handles the games. He isn't always available- he's not
technically a city cat, but he's here often enough- and he's very clever, so Dottie always comes at him when he's available to come up with some new thing to entertain her party guests.
Throughout she will give her opinions and oversee the affairs, as well as recruit any bonus aid that might be needed. She is bilingual, so, at times, she can even trade with other animals for help! At the end she will do a final thorough check to make sure everything is ready.
Then she takes
a very, very long nap.
