lightning treasures his, well, treasure. known as a major snob to everyone around him, lightning's curse was to succeed in everything. one might think "wow, hows that a curse?? i wish i had that!!", but they'd be surprised at how easily a normal, well-rounded cat becomes greedy and full of himself. he prides himself on his mass of "wealth" in the form of accomplishments, shiny things, and strange-looking twoleg food. he acts more like a king on a pedestal than the actual leader of eucalyptusclan. if anyone so much as goes near his trash heap, he's throwing a fit like a kit and whining until the cat apologizes profusely. no one likes him. he is severely unaware of this.

What Charlie treasures most is not his chocolate as many would think, but the books in which he discovered how good chocolate was (and how cool is reading).

As a kittypet of a girl who is almost all day at school or studying, he has a lot of free time alone, and even more now that she has grown up and is going to that “University”. And during that free times... Charlie reads.

It all started because his beloved two-legged cub had problems reading as a child, especially out loud and it seemed that this was an embarrassment among humans, so the girl began to read stories out loud with Charlie to prectice and the cat began to see what symbol each sound had, and what it meant and learned to read.

Two-legged's favorite stories were those of a writer called Roald Dahl, they were wonderful stories that Charlie always loved.

Now he reads the books that his humans study with, they mostly talk about animals and plants and they are very interesting, but he keeps Dahl's books next to his bed and takes care of them with great care. He likes the stories about chocolate factories, brilliant girls and evil witches; He likes that both his two-legs and he learned to read at the same time with those books; and he loves them because, even now, after so many years, they help him connect with his two-legs, when at night, she can't sleep worried about her studies and Charlie brings her one of the books to read to him and they fall asleep together.

(In several texts I've written about my clan, I mention a kittypet allied to the clan who knows how to read. If I manage to win the cat with dragon, in his story I also mention a cat who knows how to read and is an ally of the clan. I would like Charlie to be that cat.)

(Also, I recommend all dyslexics with stress-induced dyslexia, whether children or adults, to read Dahl's books. My literature teacher recommended them to me and it really helped me a lot.)

This cat treasures life and everything around it thanks to Willow. They were upset as they did not know what they wanted to do or who they want to be in life and them self. One day they were just sitting down alone looking down at the water when Williow came to cheer them up. He did not know why they were there, but he continued to let the older cat be.

Ember explained to them they did not understand them self. Willow then told them. "No one knows anything about this world. Even yourself no one knows or understands themself it just what life is about. The only thing you can do it just be happy your here with us and that you can be you no matter what your name is or what you look like you are you."

For Amber those few words changed the way they saw life and them self. Instead of being upset about it all and them self they should just be happy and treasure the moments they get in life. They now treasure everything even things they should not get in to.

He has a heart as gold as his fur- but he's definitely not the most attentive or brightest cat in the bunch. At least no in terms of wit. Which means, he's typically blissfully unaware of the world around him and has no sense of poeticism and justice and philosophical inquiry so when you ask

"What is it you truly treasure?"

He stares at you with those silly wide eyes, scraggly fur and whiskers a mess as every hamster wheel in his head twists and turns their squeaky run around in an effort to process that question. "Duh, my favorite napping place in the sun." he answers glibly.

"Well it surely cant be that simple?"

The daft look in his eyes says that it most certainly is. "Well, a good sun-spot is hard to find, and-" he waves a paw "I've only fallen off the rock once, so it's a win win to be honest. Everyone deserves a spot that really speaks to them, you know?" he assures his answer is true, and-truly there's no reason to doubt him. Some cats envy his ability to be so straightforward about life. At least he seems happy.
