Boss of the Junkyard (idk if that counts a rank?? he doesn't care, he's the boss)
This cat is unreasonably proud of kicking out his old enemies, the "dog-in-a-cat's-pelt"
Frisker and his traitorous ex-bestie,
Clip. Grater honestly has issues with coming to terms with his feelings, so of course picking on a kit and pushing around his friend to the point of them leaving seemed to be an achievement? Sure enough, he and some supporters of his actions have been favored as some cats wished for the 'hound-yowling monster' and one of their on cats 'turning rouge on them. To him, he was like a saving grace as he was brave enough to do the deed. An all holy 'deity' for the junkyard cats.
From the start, Frisker truly overstayed their welcome since they were a small kit. The kit was of course "saved" by the junkyard cats as a saving grace to all cats. The stray dogs they rivaled however, did not take to their cat family member being stole from them. This mystery kitten was a 'treat' to Grater's colony, their very presence would possible attract their family of dogs to their camp. "Why should we keep this dog-loving cat?" he would say. "It was raised by dogs for goodness sake! It'll grow up to be a cat killer!" And as an addition to that, it was said by his group that the little furball can even 'control' the minds of the slobbering beasts! Grater was rightly afraid of Frisker, as dogs were the junkyard cats' main enemy at the time. Especially adding on to the fact that the particular set of dogs they stole from were the same ones that battled with them constantly! Cats he cared about were hurt and even DIED to the creatures.
It was made even worse as Creaky, his own mother, taken in the poor scrap. She told the distraught young Grater that this kitten was innocent of the dog group's crimes. It had nothing to do with the harm of it's family and she would protect it as she does to him. Did Grater listen? No. He wanted to do good to the cats of the junkyard, and he knew how to do it. At the age of a mere 8 months, he swore that he would rid the junkyard of the freak-cat, whatever it took to do so.
And so, during his whole kithood, out of jealously and fear of the little beast, he took to pestering this child relentlessly with his small gang of ruffians. He refused to share his kin with the 'freak of catkind' as he called it. It was a matter of time before Frisker grew to be loved or even tolerated by some of the junkyard cats. Frisker No! Grater wanted the fear of the dog-cat back, and now they're cooing over them? Now, is his mind, they were rolling over for a stranger, a possible spy. The dog-speaker was a dangerous thing, it couldn't even speak cat when it got there. This cat His group just had to see it was a mistake bringing it here.
Clip and Grater on the other paw, were a different story. Clip and Grater were both part of their group of 'bullies', Grater being the 'top cat' of them all. They butted heads when it came to certain things, but overall they where buddies. Maybe, they where even on the path of being partners one day? Apparently, that did not happen, not in Grater's world. So when Clip started to befriend the 'dog-loving' Frisker, it was over for them. Being the jealous cat he is, seeing Clip and Frisker bond so closely akin to how he did with the former, made him fume. How in the world did his closest, most mischievous pal dare to turn tail on him for the weirdo? Grater hated being outshone by the to, he had to do something. He was determined to rid his junkyard of the trash and that exactly what he did.
Once Grater was of age to be the boss of the junkyard, he took the chance to turn against the two traitors. He looked for any excuse to form a rally. Some cats, including his small gang, was in favor of this and together, they formed a band of 'spies' for him. A simple trip, a fumble of words, one word word, they'll find every detail to jab and report to him. Sooner or later, Grater would find his big break. He found a big opportunity one day as he spotted the two sneaking out in the middle of the night. He and three of his team snuck behind them, intent on finding some juicy exploits. And indeed they did.
Frisker and Clip was found communicating...WITH A DOG?? This was it! This was what he were looking for! He jumped out of cover with his cats following behind him, just has he expected of course. His enemies plus to fiendish dog-freind were surround for everyone to see, for all the supporting cats and non-supporting cats to see. The cats were outraged, terrified, heartbroken even. This was all Grater needed to finally kick Frisker out on the curb with it's smelly dog pal. Unsurprisingly, Clip declared if Frisker goes, ey'll go with them. Grater was still hurt of his friend abandoning him, but nether less allowed Clip to leave, as long as the dog-lover was far from him.
Immaturely, Grater mocked Frisker as it left, kicking his back legs and barking at him, jabbing at Frisker doggish background. The other bullies joined in as well, making Frisker sulk even more and Biscuit, the dog, having to hold Clip back by the tail before ey'd shred the gang in rage. They left in brooding silence, Grater has gotten what he wanted. They were finally gone.
In the end Grater and his cats, even the ones whom were close to the two had to chase the odd trio out. Grater had finally succeeded in chasing out his enemies, the junkyard's enemies. There were doubts and even angry that they were forced to chase them out over a small, seemingly harmless occurrence, but he didn't listen, or care in that matter. He even ignore his own mother's pleads to bring back Frisker andClip, but what's done is done. In his moment of pridefulness, he threw a festival for his closest cats, further angering the more guiltier cats. Some of the crew left in the night of the party, including Creaky as some of Grater's cronies would report. Again, Grater could care less. He got rid of the dog-loving Frisk cat and the backstabbing Clip, so all was worth a party!
*feel free to ignore this i love writing for this skrunkly cat*
As of now, Grater is irrationally still happy about the disposal of the two 'freak-pelts' and their mangy dog. That is, until some strange cats dared to intrude his home to report that they are looking for a group of cats. He was generally uninterested in their wild goose chase, that was until his ears perked at the names of Biscuit, Clip, and...Frisker. Yes, he was still cheering about the fact he kicked out the trio, but they're still thriving? That's no good to Grater, not at all. The cats requested a partnership to spy on these cats, alongside his light-footed junkyard cats. For now, he's reluctant to pair with the group, but as long as Frisker and their group is out there, the dogs would follow behind them.
