It is a symbol depicting a mountain, with lightning flowing down from it like a river! The lightning strikes also look like claw marks, which adds cool to it too.
How he acquiered his symbol: By being the biggest Reverse Flash fan out there! How can an equine be a fan of a human TV series characters, well, Eobard was always a sneaky equid who loved getting into human settlements (much to his herd's disapproval) to look at various things humans do, and thus he have already seen the magic rocks that had little humans running in them. And one day, he was passing down a barn where younger workers were watching their daily episode of The Flash, and Eobard was captivated! Humans moving with the speed of lighting, they had lightnings on them just like he did and one was colored exactly like him, equid was in awe to see a two-legged version of himself in one of them! (of course, being an equine, he would not grasp the concept of "tv show", so he thought it was all for real) He changed his name to Eobard in honor of "his" little human - dont try asking what his original name was, he wont answer - and started sneaking in to watch new episodes and the ranch owners had eventually noticed him, and being observant for humans, they picked up the reason why he was staying by the barn window every week at the same time! They even realised which one was his favorite character, judging by how he'd leave and graze for a bit every time there was no Reverse Flash left to be in the repeated last week's episode, and only return for a new episode. After the show was over, he kept returning to the barn every week and peeking into the window sadly, owners of the ranch decided to leave their mountain guest a little memory to remember the show by - not every day you get to meet a show fan horse, the kids literally rioted he needed to get something! but adults turned down the idea of giving him an action figure for the fear he might eat it - and thus, not without a little struggle but nobody was seriously hurt, Eobard got his very own supervillain insignia! He loves it a lot, often looking at it and showing it off proudly, even if it weirds his herd buddies out - they just dont understand a true fan!

Codename: Thundercat | Occupation: bait

Rescued as a foal from illegal pet traders, Thundercat was quickly adopted into the training program of the group who rescued him. He proved to be a fast mover, quick thinker, and didn’t shy from a challenge. Upon his graduation into service, he was given his brand and his codename - a fierce cat with a bolt between the teeth. The eyes gain sparks under UV light, a special signature of the program.

Bait n switch

In media, being the bait is often portrayed as something the ‘stupid’ characters gets stuck with. Cat would wholeheartedly disagree. It’s in fact the most important part of a job. Toeing the line between being in danger and being in control, being convincing enough to pull it off, not giving in under the pressure of the whole job hinging on your part - Thundercat relishes the adrenaline.

After careful recon and planning, Cat is deployed near a known poacher or smuggler hideout, his telltale brand hidden with makeup. His striking coat and confident demeanour are hard to miss for those trained to spot a catch. He then either leads them on a wild chase that leads in their capture, or he lets himself become captured to break them from the inside out it depends on the plan. He tries to help as many creatures as he can on his own, opening stalls and cages with deft lips.

Laying Low

Cat’s downtime is filled with more than just training. He’s fascinated by the garage where equipment is maintained. He helps out his handler by grabbing tools or holding objects for her. If he’s not in the shops, he’s in the rehab centre checking in on some of the rescued animals awaiting transport to other facilities. He offers companionship to the scared and lonely, and is an excellent therapy animal for equines especially.

Frequent Flyer

This rescue work expands far and wide from the mountains he was born in. Thundercat has travelled by almost any means imaginable to almost anywhere imaginable. Sometimes all that’s needed to catch a thief is convincing and talented bait.

Thundercat couldn’t imagine any other life. This is where he belongs.
