oh my gosh this looks like my cat comet who passed away this year. what a gorgeous design. flame points are so precious.

Prompt: coemtswirl came from quite a hard life. he and his brother, ember, spent their first few years of life in their two-legs car with her as she tried to find her way in life. they had no idea how big the world was outside of their human's chevy. it wasn't without heartbreak that their human had to send them to a cat cafe - but it was the best thing that even happened to cometswirl and ember. that's where they met another two-leg who fell in love with the skittish best friends who'd been a hot commodity, because of how beautiful their eyes and fur were. this two-leg fell in love with the souls she could see in their bright blue eyes.

it took cometswirl a long time to trust the new two-leg. he'd put all of his heart into loving the human who bought him and his companion. what made this one different? cometswirl didn't want to wait until the two-leg decided she couldn't love them anymore: it would be so much easier to keep his distance and remember what his last human had done. the two-leg was stubborn though and she came armed with so many treats, good food that wasn't just sawdust and corn, and she bought them each a giant bed that was as soft as a downy fluff.

one day, his two-leg came home feeling different - sad, scared, and heartbroken. cometswirl remembers the way the atmosphere had been so heavy. he'd never heard his new human cry this way before. he was a little scared and hesitant, but little by little, he'd crept across the studio apartment. as he stood at the edge of his two-leg's nest and watched on, he recalled just wishing someone had been there to hold him when his life had gone so wrong. so, with as much bravery (a lot!) the flame and cream tom had in his mighty, depthless heart, he climbed up on the bed. his two-leg had stopped crying the second he plopped his butt on her chest and gave her the very best headbutt he'd ever produced.

from then on, cometswirl has realized the importance of keeping someone you love close. you don't have to talk, you don't have to do anything, when something is wrong. you just have to be there - and as long as you have somebody who would sit beside you, well... then the world can't be all wrong. cometswirl's company is one of the best remedy for darn near anythiing that his family has ever known.

Prompt: quite literally. Niko is well known for going around and putting accessories on other cats that glow. He makes them himself. Every item is hand made and painstakingly designed to match the cat in mind. That's right he plans things way ahead of time. The lights he wears around his body are leftovers from his hard work.

He has a hard time not getting involved in trying to give these gifts away, even though he is very aware that not everyone wants them. He can't understand why anyone wouldn't want a free gift that they can wear, and even glows! From bows, to scarves to simple wrist bands this floof is insistent on spreading cheer with accessorizing.

Prompt: Buttons might not usually do it intentionally but all his silly little antics do bring a lot of light into the life of his twoleg, Ava. She sometimes gets really stuck in her own head thinking about silly things, or at least that's what she says anyway. She tells him he's such a silly cat but he's the brightest thing in her life. He thinks she particularly thinks its very silly that he keeps getting into boxes and coming out with some nice fashionable accessories, today he has gotten into the lights she had sitting out all week to put up to decorate.

While he doesn't usually do silly things with the purpose of bringing light into his twoleg's life, today is one of those exceptions. She has been very sad all week and just keeps staring at the decorations instead of putting them up! So he comes strutting into her den wearing some of the lights from one of the boxes as a very fashionable accessory. He mewls hoping up onto her bed pawing her face for attention, she needs to see him for this to work!

Predictably Ava takes one look at him all tangled up in lights and bursts into giggles. Eventually she is giggling so hard she is crying as well and pulls him close to cuddle. She mumbles about him being such a silly little cat, and the lights are fitting. They stay there cuddled together for a while, Buttons purring steadily to help his twoleg feel that much more better. He doesn't really know why she gets caught up in silly thoughts, or stares at decorations instead of putting them up but as long as he's by her side she will always have a silly kitty to help.

Ava eventually gets up carrying Buttons with her to the living room, then the kitchen. She makes them both something yummy to eat and then they sit in the livingroom together looking through the decorations. He helps a lot getting into the boxes and pulling out just the most shiny things from them. If they are going to decorate it's got to all be bright and sparkly! Ava eventually removes the lights Buttons had been tangled in but carefully wraps a different set around him to his confusion until she does something with the tiny box on the end of the new lights and now he is literally lighting up! He purrs happily pressing into Ava in thanks, he likes being a little beacon of light in her life.
