Mugs of apple cider rest on the wooden benchtop of the makeshift investigation booth, the steam rising in soft silver wisps. You soak in the fragrance of fresh apples and cinnamons, the autumn breeze a kiss against your cheeks.

All around you, the colors of the carnival are in full bloom. The sounds, the sights, the smells, the life. Grape Jelly’s samples, Seaviper’s fishing, Hareskip’s lovely florals, Hana’s bustling bumper cars, Max’s garden, Bramblethorn’s pumpkin carving. The heartbeat of the carnival still thrums—Carrrl’s vision, dream and hope.

And maybe there’s something you can do as well.

A gentle determination hums through the thread that connects you and all the other carnival cats. Shared glances and quiet conversations soon bloom into a lively brainstorming session of chaos and scattered ideas. Someone puts a bulletin board together of notes and ideas, stringing them all together in a connected web. Others create a list of supplies and materials. And someone else takes the lead, ensuring everyone’s ideas are heard.

A voice rings out from the gathered crowd, rich and warm. “What about an advertising campaign?”

And amidst the burst of chatter and the zing of energy and the scrawl of ink upon paper, you swear that the marble statue of Carrrl at the center of the carnival winks in approval.
