Gravity, the stars on their hip and horn are there because they are a celestial being with a connection to the stars and planets. Their multiple eyes are also something that's a part of their celestial nature as only two are used for normal observation and the others are more built for looking far into the distance up at the sky to see details that only a telescope would pick up on normally.

They have the ability to influence the gravity of stars, planets, moons and asteroids and so on. They can influence the tide for you if you win their heart, but they're incredibly reluctant to use this power due to the scale of it's effect. A slight change in gravity in any way can cause devastating effects on the whole planet.

Though they're also able to use their power to simply 'feel' parts of a planet and they are able to harmlessly use this for cartography and navigation purposes, sometimes they can even use this to 'feel' and thus determine where celestial bodies are located, though this is much harder due to distance, but their specialized star-seeing eyes help a lot (they do go along with the gravity powers after all).

They are also able to manipulate gravity on a much smaller scale and seemingly 'telepathically' move large heavy objects, though this is somehow much harder to do than simply messing with the gravity of planets and stars because it requires a lot of focus and concentration. Think of it as trying to see a very tiny detail in a huge very complex very detailed painting, or like playing a very hard version of Where's Waldo. They tend to prefer just focusing on the cartography.

Their power visually manifests as a multi colored series of stripes that surround them like an aura and fade away the further away from their body they are, the colors of the stripes are various shades of red and orange. They like that the stripes kind of remind them of topographic map height lines. Cartography really is their truest calling.
